I do not recall ever talking to Katlyn, although I may have on the first day. Shen never made any attempt to contact me throughout the very long process.
On day one I was approved and they locked in my interest rate for 2 months. We finally closed on the last day of the rate lock. On day one I was approved and they locked in my interest rate for 2 months. We finally closed on the last day of the rate lock. I called two times to see what was holding things up and both ladies I talked to never gave me any reasons and were both very rude and condescending. You record the calls, go listen for yourself. Especially the second person. She talked over me and would not let me ask my question.
I definitely would have went somewhere else as there are thousands of mortgage companies to choose from but by that time, I was almost 2 months into the process and did not want to start over.
When I did finally get the email telling me we were ready to close it was for the next day.
I am in my late 60s and have owned 5 homes and refinanced some of them. I have never had an experience like this.
