I contacted J.D. Meyer through Rocket Mortgage in order to take advantage of current extremely low interest rates to refinance my home mortgage. I had certain conditions that I told him would be necessary to proceed, namely to lower interest rate and monthly mortgage payment, not ncrease the length of my mortgage.

Yesterday I closed on the mortgage. I shaved almost a full point off the interest rate, shortened the term of the loan and reduced my monthly payment.
I could not be happier. I have extra spending money each month.
