Kristine was great at answering all of my questions regarding refinancing my mortgage. I did have some negative experiences though:

Sometimes I would send her a text and she would not respond so after a 1-3 days, I had to reach out again and then she would respond. There were many times during the process when my mortgage was just waiting on something before it could move forward in the process. However, the portal didn't tell me exactly what it was waiting on and neither did Kristine. So several days were delayed. I called the Rocket Mortgage main phone line to get an update since Kristine wasn't responding. At one point, the wait was on verification of my employment. Several days had gone by and I didn't know what the hold up was. I reached out to Kristine and she told me. I was then able to immediately provide the employment verification.

On the day the interest rate was to be locked, I asked Kristine if I could get a lower interest rate before closing if it went down. She said yes, that we were just locking the rate to make sure it wouldn't be higher. When closing approached, the interest rate had gone down by more than 1% and I asked if I could get a lower interest rate. She told me I would have to buy down the rate (and it was price-y). I wish she had explained to me that to me when I originally asked her the rate. I may have chosen to wait on locking the rate.Read MoreRead Less

Jeanie was recommended by our Schwab Wealth Advisory contact, and was an absolute crackerjack: highly competent, prompt--and a couple of times even prompting--communicator, super personable. Provided system coaching a couple of times with Rocket's extensive template for tasks, etc. Our loan came through, start to finish, in a month, which seemed fast to us. Great experience.
