My mortgage refinance journey began several months ago, when I applied with my current mortgage holder only to be turned down. That’s when I applied on-line with Rocket. They also turned me down. Several days later, I got a call from Cass who said he had looked at my application and saw some things we could work on. He assigned Kris Harris to work with me to repair my credit score. We were able to...My mortgage refinance journey began several months ago, when I applied with my current mortgage holder only to be turned down. That’s when I applied on-line with Rocket. They also turned me down. Several days later, I got a call from Cass who said he had looked at my application and saw some things we could work on. He assigned Kris Harris to work with me to repair my credit score. We were able to get some erroneous things removed from all three credit bureaus and got my score to where it needed to be. Cass stayed in touch with me the entire time. We started uploading necessary documents to Rocket’s customer portal. The system notified me when tasks were needed and completed. Other resources were assigned to me, like an appraiser and title company. Once the loan was approved, I was able to choose the date, time and location of the closing. A notary who worked for Rocket came to my house and I signed or e-signed all the documents. Five days later, the proceeds of the refinance appeared in my bank account. This was the easiest and most pleasant banking experience of my life. I credit Cass for making it happen. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional, but most importantly, friendly and engaged.
