The worst thing was we were misled. I was prepared to pay my mortgage on October 30th, and we had concerns because our understanding was that we should not have to have money at closing. After waiting 4 months to close we were told not to worry about our October payment, just use that money for closing. It would be fine. So we did. The worst thing was we were misled. I was prepared to pay my mortgage on October 30th, and we had concerns because our understanding was that we should not have to have money at closing. After waiting 4 months to close we were told not to worry about our October payment, just use that money for closing. It would be fine. So we did. We were misled to get us to sign. The late payment was reported and my credit went down 70 points. Really crummy, but we didn't get it in writing, so Rocket Mortgage has refused to withdraw the late payment from the credit agencies. I will never recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone.Read MoreRead Less
