I know that I am extremely tardy with this review but here goes. After having a mortgage with Wells Fargo we decided to refinance through them since they knew us already. We have an unblemished payment history and a longstanding relationship with them and I assumed this would make the process go more smoothly. Boy was I wrong!! We have an unblemished payment history and a longstanding relationship with them and I assumed this would make the process go more smoothly. Boy was I wrong!! They pulled our credit reports, did the employment and income verification and the like. Then the runaround began. Waiting for one more document; the problem is on their side not ours; then I find out that they never contacted that company for the last document that was needed for final review of our paperwork. After over two months (0ctober-December 2019) of this I was finally done. I called Rocket Mortgage and was fortunate enough to get Robert. I didnā€™t care that another credit report pull would ding our score. We started the paperwork with Robert on December 16, 2019 and closed on January 14, 2020. Yes thatā€™s right, we were able to close in slightly less than a month and with major holidays happening at the same time. Robert also suggested that we might consider taking a cash out to get rid of some of our debt. We also shortened our mortgage time. I can honestly say almost nine months later that it was the best financial decision we have made in some time. And we couldnā€™t have done it without Robert!!!Read MoreRead Less
