Jon was able to get me the exact loan I wanted (8 yr fixed refi of a 15 yr loan) after the Rocket on-line application system refused my on-line request. He contacted me within 48 hrs of the on-line system refusing my request. He got me the locked in rate I wanted (which was 1.25 points better than my 15 yr loan) and with minimal closing costs. Jon was easy to deal with and responded to my questions in a reasonable time during the entire loan process. Jon's service was very good.
Unfortunately Rocket's/Rocket Mortgage's underwriting and closing processing was not smooth or efficient. Nearly 3 months to close what should have been a 45 day slam dunk refi (excellent credit, all required docs sent quickly , clear title & history, LTV 35%, etc). I had to call processing SEVERAL times to have them fix numerous errors on the closing estimates including everything from the loan amount, to lender credits, to fees.
