When I was trying to refinance my home I got a call from him saying the only way I refinance was if my Discover card was paid off and added to the refi. If not, my debt to income would be to high for the loan. I told him I definitely wanted to do that. The ENTIRE time the loan was being worked that’s what I was told. When I got my closing docs for review I noticed the discover card payoff was...When I was trying to refinance my home I got a call from him saying the only way I refinance was if my Discover card was paid off and added to the refi. When I got my closing docs for review I noticed the discover card payoff was not mentioned so I called about it because I wanted it to paid off. I was assured that the card was being paid off and once again that was the only way the refi would be able to take place. I signed the loan docs since I was assured they were correct. The next few weeks I kept waiting... waiting... waiting for my card to have a zero balance. That never happened. I called and got someone else who told me I would have needed a completely different type of loan for a pay out like that to happen, and there was nothing that could be done to fix it since I signed the closing docs. I Would never have signed the docs had I not been lied to and told the closing docs were correct when I specifically called to ask about it. I really want to get my refi corrected and the card paid off like I was told but have had no help at all... just a flat out refusal. I am very upset about this loanRead MoreRead Less
