I've worked with Allen on several refi's and each time he's been exceptionally trustworthy and efficient. In fact, on two occasions he's actually recommended against increasing or modifying a loan because it didn't fit the goals that we discussed. Another time, Allen called me with a lower rate because he was going through his records and saw that he could make it work in my favor without any fees. I've worked with local/boutique mortgage brokers early in my homeowner life and none have ever called with a better rate or denied themselves business in my best interest.
