I had a very frustrating experience and would not choose to work with this banker again.

I have been with Rocket for over 10 years, and I came into this process hoping to continue working with the company. Unfortunately, this interaction made me seriously question whether I want to remain a Rocket customer.

I have been with Rocket for over 10 years, and I came into this process hoping to continue working with the company. Unfortunately, this interaction made me seriously question whether I want to remain a Rocket customer.

I repeatedly asked for specific written refinance scenarios so I could compare the loan amount, rate, APR, points, closing costs, cash to client, and total monthly payment. Instead, I was sent loan examples that did not match what I asked for, including scenarios with large cash-to-client amounts after I had clearly said I did not want additional cash out.

I also explained that I needed communication by email so I could read, process, and compare the numbers carefully. Rather than answering my written questions directly, he pushed for phone calls and stated that he could not help me save money by writing emails. For a major financial decision, written clarity is essential.

I felt pressured toward a larger refinance structure and did not feel my questions were being heard or answered accurately. The process left me feeling confused, dismissed, and uncomfortable. I ultimately requested to be reassigned to someone else.Read MoreRead Less
