My loan was closed in 10 days from start to finish. I now have a lower interest rate, no PMI (even though I didn't have 80% mortgage balance), and a much lower monthly payment. The Rocket Mortgage process, for me, was a dream. Every step of the process I was informed. There was never a day wasted waiting for behind the scenes mystery processors. Todd was an absolutely excellent professional to work with as we refinanced our loan. I don't think I ever waited longer than an hour to get a response back from him. I inquired over Facebook and Jeffrey started to contacting us at home. He was very diligent with the calls. My husband was the person who was dealing with him directly. Apparently, the interest rates were increasing so he had moved things along quickly for us. He mentioned to my husband that was a $500 credit if we could provide friends who worked with Rocket Mortgage before. He mentioned to my husband that was a $500 credit if we could provide friends who worked with Rocket Mortgage before. He provided one of our friends in South Dakota and Jeffrey could not find him in the database. We gave him another one of my friends who lived in the same town as us . We did not hear any more about the discount until the day we were closing. We mentioned it to the man that came to our house and tried to call Jefffrey on the monday of closing. He did not answer his phone. My husband reached out to Jeffrey a few times and it would go to voicemail. I finally emailed Jeffrey and asked him about our discount with three numbers of my friend-both cells and home number.He said he would get back to me. He emailed me a couple of days later and told me he could not give us the discount because it was to late. Vey dissappointed with Jeffrey that he could not make this happen. Why tell us about it if you can not make it happen. We refinanced over $200,000.00 with this comapany and they could not give us a $500.00 discount. This a lot of money that was promised to us and he did not deliver. I could have used this money for part of a payment.Read MoreRead Less
