Annmarie was very helpful in many ways. Not only did she provide answers to questions she offered suggestions. She showed me by her telephone demeanor she was interested in helping us out as we were looking at refinancing our home. Lucas was truly amazing. I had been prequalified by another lender and during the process--after 200 pages submitted and taking two days off from work to gather the information--received yet another phone call from the Lender for TWELVE more documents. I was so frustrated, close to tears, and my closing day was coming up fast. I friend had told me about Lucas and suggested I give him a call. ...Lucas was truly amazing. I was so frustrated, close to tears, and my closing day was coming up fast. I friend had told me about Lucas and suggested I give him a call. I did and within the space of 15 minutes he had pre-qualified me and sent me to underwriting. AMAZING. It was quick and seamless. When you're in that "searching the world for a mortgage" mode, it can be difficult to differentiate between the large number of responding firms. I can say that when I spoke with Courtney Kossel for the first time, I felt confident that I was going to go with Rocket Mortgage as long as the numbers came out right for me, and they did. I can say that when I spoke with Courtney Kossel for the first time, I felt confident that I was going to go with Rocket Mortgage as long as the numbers came out right for me, and they did. Courtney has a great combination of friendliness, professionalism and directness. Typically, when you start asking questions of the average mortgage banker, you get a lot of meaningless responses that net out to "commit to a mortgage with us, and THEN we'll tell you the terms". I never felt that way with Courtney. I knew from the first call what a solid estimate of my refinance was (she ended up being within TWO DOLLARS a month of the actual closing numbers). I never felt like she was holding something back until I had money in the game. She always made sure I had the answers I needed, all the way through the process. She regularly checked on me to make sure I wasn't hitting any snags on my end, and that I was comfortable with how things were going.
