Steve was one of the most informative people I have come across. I cannot thank him enough for the preparation to the next level at Rocket Mortgage. Stephen is great, sometimes I would ask him a personal question to try to break the ice and get to know him better but I didn't get very far. He is amazing though.
Stephen is the homie, and is probably one of the best teachers I've had in education and in the professional world. He understands all of his material and can clearly explain the complexities of the Mortgage world, while still maintaining a fun and interactive environment. I was lucky and blessed enough to have him as my lead trainer.

"Looks can be deceiving"..I don't know who said it and it's not that important. What is important though, is even though his "death stare" is on hall of fame, he's personality is the opposite. I would say that he has mastered the "gumping" of information, and effective test taking. Every day he tells us to be high level. By far one the best instructors I’ve ever. He made me want to come to class even through the monotony of it. Stephen exemplified what it means to be truly be great at his craft. Forthright, informative and methodical, he ensures everyone’s comprehension of the subject matter and is extremely easy to talk to. Stephen is a great instructor! When trainees are struggling with a certain topic or concept, he identifies the problem and finds the best and most efficient way of providing clear and concise explanation. He often times can identify the problem before the trainee(s) even realize they have one, which is just a testament to his preparation and commitment to being as high-level as possible.
