Awesome instructor. Full of energy every day and very patient with people who needed a few explanations to get a concept down. I appreciated his military background as I am sure the other veterans in the class appreciated too. He took time to help me with an outside problem one on one and made sure I was in a good mindset to take the SAFE. Great guy.

Stephen wants you to succeed. He is driven and expects you to be, which is a sign of an excellent coach. Stephen can be brisk, and he always tells you like it is, although at times he could benefit from dialing it in a bit. You will learn from this man if you match his effort to teach with your effort to learn.

Stephen is a great instructor who knows how to set standards and hold people to them. This is a critical skill for Rocket Mortgage team members, who must embody the ISM; Every Client, Every Time, No Excuses. With the SAFE exam, there are oftentimes questions in mind that pertain more to Rocket Mortgage and less to knowledge that is useful to the exam. I feel very prepared, and the best thing you can do if he is to be your instructor is LISTEN. He will give you what you need to be prepared for the exam, you just have to saddle up and trust the process.
