He has a rare ability to quickly be able to understand the unique psychology and learning style of each individual, and quickly adapt his teaching to help guide the person to answer the questions for themselves, while simultaneously cementing further understanding of the topic for the entire class. He is a true professional of his craft and a genius in his own right. The memory tricks and verbal queues used to help us retain the information are skills that will carry onto all parts of life. Elliot is more than a trainer/teacher, but he is also a mentor. The level of passion and care he provides is more than just SAFE related, but he is always willing to offer motivation and advice on personal matters as well, if asked. As a believer in always staying a student, and a general fan of learning, Elliot is everything you could ask for and more. I wish I had professors such as Elliot in College. I would like to give a special thanks and praise to all of the trainers, and everyone involved with the structuring, writing, and providing of materials for these past 4 weeks. This has been the most effective and efficient learning environment I had ever had the privilege and pleasure of experience in my entire life. you are all rockstars!"

Steve Pushed me to...Stephen is the best trainer that I have ever had, I went through some pretty crazy and extensive training with AT&T but this was by far the hardest training I have ever had... Ever! Steve Pushed me to breaking points and helped me push boundaries I was trying to over come for years but at the time was afraid to fail, well Steve made me think why am I doing this, so before I would have said family to have a better life, well as the days went on I felt a transformation in myself that I felt deep, I was here for myself! for me and me only and I felt a drive that made me push and push myself to get assignments done, stay up late to study, and Steve showed me how to better manage my time and that made the difference in everything I watch my scores go up and I was no longer the guy that was trying to support his family I was someone more someone my family could be proud of and proud of myself. Steve gave me structure and effectiveness and to me that's not just MLO knowledge that's life knowledge that I will take with me forever, thanks buddy no matter what happens in this career, know that I turned into someone who isn't afraid of being uncomfortable and will take a challenge head on. "

It's clear that Tiffany is obsessed with her work! I can't imagine someone that knows more about SAFE and MLO origination than Tiff. Anytime I had a question, and anytime another banker had a question she was patient, and explained things in a GUMPed fashion. Tiffany presented material in a fashion that was relatable and easy to understand. Tiffany has so many hacks to remember material. Tiffany supported us and was there for us when we needed an extra push to reach our true potential. Tiffany helped to manage us in an excellent manner that fostered success and confidence. We've spent a lot of time together in the last four weeks and this has been an experience I will not forget nor will I forget how you've impacted me and my fellow bankers."

I was surprised on how good he was with presenting information. During SAFE i had a death in the family, he was very understanding and asked if I needed any extra help in terms of retaining information. Even with everything in my personal life felling apart, I looked forward to going to SAFE because I knew I was in a supportive family like environment. I was impressed even more in regards to me and him being the same age. Before Quick and Loans I was a store manager and I took pride in my skills in developing teams. After SAFE with Jamiil I can honestly say that my skills in that department has grown a lot. If I pass SAFE it will be thanks to Jamiil and the other instructors who reached out and helped me when they saw me stumble. He is an example on how a quality Quick and loans team member should act and everyone should aspire to be as helpful and cheerful as Jamiil."

She is very organized while handling a classroom session and understands the importance of encouraging your fellow teammates to keep up HARD WORK. It doesn't matter who you are, or what type of personality you have, Ayana can relate and assist you with your every need while learning the course material. I've had several ...Well I sure wasn't expecting what I got as an instructor for SAFE training. In the 4 weeks as an instructor, Prudence was among the best that I've ever had for any subject matter. I've had several instructors for multiple semesters, including many PhDs, that don't even come close. If you have Prudence for SAFE training, you will pass. Pay attention, though it's impossible not to because of her commanding presence and unrivaled energy. The one day that I had with a different lead instructor was the day that I was most lacking in knowledge. She is a wealth of knowledge and has a strong devotion to the success and motivation of her students. After all, she is the first impression we get with Rocket Mortgage and she is the one shaping us to be the bankers that we want to be. I will never forget Prudence Laplante. I’d give her 10 stars if I could!"

Jill always tried to use real life examples to help us better understand difficult topics that related to mortgages. Malik has a slower approach ...I have been in the mortgage industry for 13 years and was a trainer myself for a good portion of these years and Malik and Shawn were by far the best trainers I ever had. Malik has a slower approach and takes his time to make sure everyone understands the material and is happy to stop and take a deeper dive into the material. Shawn is more fast paced but gets everyone involved in a way that makes it easier to retain the information being presented. Both have different approaches but equally effective. I'm a thrilled they were my trainers. When I pass the Safe exam tomorrow, it will be because of them. Thank you!"

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Wayne State University, taken plenty of other courses in different institutions, and dropped out of my master's program at Ball State University to join Rocket Mortgage. All my courses were health related and had no knowledge or experience in mortgages. NONE. I'll be honest, I had no idea what a mortgage really was, let alone knew anything about the process of even buying a home. I was not confident jumping into something that I was not familiar with. However, thanks to Steele, I am amazed at what I know today. This man changed my entire confidence and understanding of mortgages, Which brings me back to why I mentioned my education history. Steele was the BEST instructor/team leader/teacher/role model I have ever learned from! I learned a new favorite quote he had shared in class, which was "Diamonds are made through pressure, and to become a diamond, One must experience that pressure." His positive energy integrated with his style of teaching is beyond anything I have ever experienced in an educational standpoint. I am forever thankful and grateful not only in joining Rocket Mortgage, but most importantly being part of Steele's team. He is the reason for my life beginning a new journey in this amazing career.
