Josh was super laid back and very easy to learn from. He made sure everyone understood what he was explaining before he moved on, and never minded going back over something so we could better understand. Josh incorporated stories and skills he learned from his banking career into his presentation which really helped paint a picture of what he was explaining.

Ryan was awesome!! He made everything simple and to the point and gave us realistic expectation of what calls will be like on the floor. From the beginning I could tell he took his job very seriously, and made sure we always stayed in character.

Sam found his calling as an instructor. The challenge with sitting through class is a droning, unengaging orator, who takes little stock in the style or approach to teaching a class. Sam is the antithesis of this. His comic relief and presence was like taking a class hosted by Russell Brand. The best part was, we all actually retained the material he covered. Michelle did an excellent job coaching our class to retain the material and pass our exams. Every person learns a bit differently. Michelle is able to identify those differences and adapt to make sure the training isn't just a one-size-fits-all scenario. I appreciated her feedback and approach.

Where do I start....
Let me first begin with a brief educational history of mine. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Wayne State University, taken plenty of other courses in different institutions, and dropped out of my master's program at Ball State University to join Rocket Mortgage. All my courses were health related and had no knowledge or experience in mortgages. NONE. I'll be honest, I had no idea what a mortgage really was, let alone knew anything about the process of even buying a home. I was not confident jumping into something that I was not familiar with. However, thanks to Ryan, I am amazed at what I know today. This man changed my entire confidence and understanding of mortgages, Which brings me back to why I mentioned my education history. Ryan was the BEST instructor/team leader/teacher/role model I have ever learned from! His positive energy integrated with his style of teaching is beyond anything I have ever experienced in an educational standpoint. I am forever thankful and grateful not only in joining Rocket Mortgage, but most importantly being part of Ryan's team. He is the reason for my life beginning a new journey in this amazing career. Nothing comes easy. Accomplishment can only be achieved if you believe in yourself, but In order to accomplish anything, you have to fight through the obstacles to reach your goals. Thank you Ryan!

Michelle has a unique way of teaching and takes several different avenues to get the class to learn and to retain information. She is always willing to help out and make custom solutions for each person to learn. She's very engaging, knows the subject matter extremely well, and most importantly, helped me pass my SAFE test with flying colors!
