Where do I begin? Matty P is the perfect balance to the overload you feel when initiating one of the biggest decisions you will make in your career. I can honestly say I only felt overwhelmed when he was not coaching us at home! His knowledge and direct approach to explanations, balanced with a smile and funny interjections, made the whole process fun--rather than a chore. His motivating ways ...Where do I begin? Steele Hughes leads by example. As our first week's lecturer, he introduced our class to the overarching concepts, and also to himself. Deeply honest, vulnerable, kind, yet strong, he easily led our class discussions into a safe and focused environment. I particularly noticed the care that he took with students who struggled, to include them, and to bring a source of positive energy to move ...Steele Hughes leads by example. I particularly noticed the care that he took with students who struggled, to include them, and to bring a source of positive energy to move forward. I really appreciated the way Steele was able to edit classroom commentary to keep us on track and moving forward at a quick pace, being able to direct non-essential questions and commentary "off-line."(to be dealt with one-on-one, at a later time) This was really helpful for our class section because it allowed the stream of knowledge to continue to its destination without engaging in useless hypotheticals. I also am deeply appreciative of his willingness to share with our class some of the significant challenges he has overcome which have led him to the success he now enjoys; someone who is truly strong doesn't need to carry armor, or to always be selling their own perfection. Matty P 10-03 - I came into this process completely unaware of the amount of info that I was going to be asked to learn and comprehend. Eating the elephant can seem like a overwhelming task to accomplish- but time flies when your having fun. I couldn't wait to here what analogies or example we were going to here about next and it helped me to understand a ton of the concepts.
