It was Matthew that sold me on Rocket Mortgage. I felt like he was definitely looking out for my best interests. The previous mortgage company I had (refinanced with Rocket Mortgage) never came close to the customer service I got from Matthew. When I first bought my house, no one went over things with me in such detail as he did. Every time I had questions, Matthew was more than happy to answer them. I am also happy with everyone at Rocket Mortgage. They have very good customer service.

Since then, I have been on the Rocket Mortgage website several times, and I am extremely impressed with it. It is so easy to send documents, and see the progress of the application. Just today I set up my payments and saw how making additional payments will affect the number of years of the loan and the interest accrued. There is a payment tool that allows you to see how adding an extra amount each month can impact the loan. Seeing it visually graphed out, showing the principle amount and the interest amount, is very helpful. It really makes an impact on how you think about your payments and understand how a mortgage works. It was very useful to be able to try different amounts, such as adding just an extra $20 or $50 can pay off the loan faster. The website is far superior to that of my old mortgage company.
