I was so lucky to have been referred to John - he was beyond helpful and always made sure I had a clear understanding of everything throughout the home buying process! He was very thorough and detailed and frequently called or emailed just to "check in" and make sure everything was going well for me! My husband and I worked with John to re-finance our mortgage with the VA back in 2015. The VA requires taxes be paid from an escrow account. When the mortgage servicing company we were using failed to pay our property taxes on time, John immediately stepped in to right all wrongs; then he followed up with a phone call and a subsequent email documenting that the error had been corrected!
