In all of my home loan acquisition experiences, Mike was likely the easiest agent I've ever worked with. He made himself available after hours, including weekends to answer questions and was courteous and knowledgeable. My only complaint were the constant delays (which, in reading other reviews, seems to be a common occurrence). My loan got stuck in Title twice, due to what I can only assume was ...In all of my home loan acquisition experiences, Mike was likely the easiest agent I've ever worked with. He made himself available after hours, including weekends to answer questions and was courteous and knowledgeable. My only complaint were the constant delays (which, in reading other reviews, seems to be a common occurrence). My loan got stuck in Title twice, due to what I can only assume was miscommunication. Rocket was unable to place the mortgage in my trust, as originally planned, due to missing one piece of documentation - as soon as I learned of this, I chose to proceed without trust affiliation on the loan. Doesn't sound like this was communicated to title - after daily phone calls (for weeks!!) to Rocket Closing Team, the issue was resolved, and I received my preliminary Closing Docs which contained incorrect debt payoff information. I made Mike aware of this issue as soon as I saw this (and also Rocket said I was able to update once Final Closing Docs were available - not the case), and unfortunately the correction wasn't able to be made in time for my scheduled closing date, and was forced to postpone minutes before my appointment time (Thursday 5/7). I was thankfully able to reschedule to Monday the 11th immediately on the phone with Mike & the Closing Team....Come Monday, I checked the protal, and my loan was back in Title's hands, the notary didn't show up for signing (with no warning), and I didn't end up signing until 5/14. Start to finish, over a month long process. We are currently in the throws of a major addition on our home, and having my money tied up caused building setbacks and undue financial stress between my spouse and I. I honestly don't think Mike was responsible for much of the delay, and I was grateful that he was understanding and helped me push things to close, even if we had to jump through hoops. I believe Mike did his job as he should. I saw his name on the closing paperwork. The loan was completed and closed. But we had delay after delay. Some papers were in the closing document that were the wrong name and address. This was an issue that caused rescheduling once, but the papers had not been removed. Fortunately, the notary caught it.
