Being fair to Peter I will not give a review. Ours was a unique situation and I got the feeling he was dealing with a moving target from the underwriters throughout our process. Long story short we were pre approved for up to a $300,000. dollar loan with 20% down on a second home. After we had written a contract on a $245,000 home those numbers became 25% down with a requirement to pay down the ...Being fair to Peter I will not give a review. Long story short we were pre approved for up to a $300,000. dollar loan with 20% down on a second home. After we had written a contract on a $245,000 home those numbers became 25% down with a requirement to pay down the loan interest to the tune of around $2,400. All this because we are retired but having demonstrated an average free cash flow income of over $9,000. a month and a net worth exceeding 1.5 million. It appeared my loan morphed into a cash grab trying to get as many fees and up front cost added to a loan Rocket Mortgage plans to flip.
