We are retired military. We found a house south of Houston that was ideal and near our family that had already settled in the area. We found a house south of Houston that was ideal and near our family that had already settled in the area. The seller had created a very demanding and inflexible time schedule. Our bank had offered a mortgage application through offices on the West Coast. Communications over that distance were not going to work. Michael Lupia made it happen. He was local, available over the phone, email or text any time. It turned out that is what it took. On Friday afternoon he e-mailed us a detailed list of documents required for the VA loan application. By Saturday the application was ready to be e-signed. Mike worked directly with our Realtor and the Title Company to coordinate the process and keep us informed of exactly what to do next. We got through the Contract signing, Inspection, VA requirements, Appraisal and Closing on a very tight schedule. Mike is very personable. He supported us across the Closing table and after gave us links to instructions on Exemptions. A few days later the county said everything was in order and exemption applications accepted.
