My prime motivator for choosing Rocket Mortgage over my credit union was speed to close. I wanted to move now and not take over a month. Chanhnett got me to closing in twelve days, checks going out on the fourteenth day. That's fast. Rocket Mortgage has a nice streamlined system that keeps everything moving. "Literally ghosted us in the middle of the loan process. Stated a discount on the first call that we didn’t end up getting and when I asked him about it he denied it. He ended the call by stating that ...Literally ghosted us in the middle of the loan process. Stated a discount on the first call that we didn’t end up getting and when I asked him about it he denied it. He ended the call by stating that he would listen to the first call and that he was a man of his word… and then we never heard from him again. If he misspoke and couldn’t give us the discount we would’ve been okay with that, but at least own up to it."
