The speed (2 days) at which we were approved and the time to apply and close (1 week) on our refinance was impeccable and unprecedented for us. We pinched ourselves how quick and easy it was. We held off refinancing for two years because of the long and inconvenient process traditional lenders take to refinance and time requirements for the applicants. Tom electronically verified our employment, W2 pay history, our bank statements, etc. Some of the convenience depends on the individual’s employer and financial institution’s tech capabilities, nonetheless, it was a breeze on our part! Getting the lowest rate isn’t always the most important factor in a loan and Tom reminded us we should think about our goals before applying. We went through a needs review discussion with us and found the best loan structure (less cash at closing) to meet our needs. He knows how to cut through the bureaucracy and also explain in layman’s terms complex mortgage concepts. We highly texokmwnd it!"

I was very scared, unsure, hurt and frankly did not know what to do or how to start the process to refi and have my abusive ...I reached out to Rocket via an online form and received a call from Sam. I was very scared, unsure, hurt and frankly did not know what to do or how to start the process to refi and have my abusive ex-husband taken off the loan. From other lenders I was told immediately "NO" and my ex-husband said I could have the house but 'NO ONE" would ever help me get a loan. It would be impossible because of my credit history which included a dismissed Chapter 13. It felt like an impossible battle, but I had faith that someone could help and God orchestrated a phone call with Sam. Sam was the first and only loan agent that listened to me, explained my situation and allowed me to cry :) She was encouraging, but did not over promise, Sam provided directions and advice and she never once made me "feel small" or like there was no hope. After the call she connected me with Jon to assist with my credit and he as well was phenomenal. I did everything they asked me to do. When Sam said she believed she could help me, I don't think she knew what ride we were about to take. I am sure that many of you have heard the stories. It was not easy to get to closing and despite what my family and friends said, I knew that I could trust Sam through this process. Sam showed me that people do care and even in the tough situations she handled it all with grace, kindness, empathy and professionalism. I could not say enough about Sam and Rocket Mortgage. Because of Sam and Rocket my grand-daughter and I have a home that we can call our own. There is so much more I could say! I pray that Rocket continues to help others as you have helped me. I don't know how you reward your employees at Rocket but whatever you do Sam Camilleri deserves it and more!! I have been going through some very difficult family, health and work issues this past year and it leaked over to my finances. If it was not for John and his team I think I would still be feeling overwhelmed and defeated. What can I say about John Gandara. He listened to my embarrassing and crazy life story that got me into this financial mess. He was very patient and did not judge me. It made me feel safe to admit I made a mess of my finances and I needed help to get back on track. Mr. Gandara and his team were all very positive and upbeat throughout the whole process. I was expecting him to tell me I was denied the home loan. However, he was able to able to create magic and refinanced my home loan with debt consolidation. This loan is saving me a few thousand dollars a month and has gotten the gorilla off my chest. John also gave me some sound financial advice and ideas for short term goals to assist in saving additional money. I will be working on those goals and thanking God everyday John Gandara and his team were sent to me. I called this man 100 times he would literally reply and say is it important? Can I call you in a minute or he would call me right away without him this Loan would not have been possible because no one else would have the patient to help me the way he did I let people bosses know when they’re not doing their job and when people are doing their job, I also let the boss know they’re doing a great job and I’m gonna be calling his boss to let them know he deserves a raise even when my loan was passed off to someone else or the next phase. I repeatedly called him and he said I’m gonna see what’s happening and I will let you know, but I’m not doing working with this anymore, but this man was beyond patient with me."

We had discussed a consolidation of our first and ...When our efforts to refinance our first mortgage fell through due to incompetence on the lender as a whole, I contacted John at Rocket Mortgage. We had discussed a consolidation of our first and second with him earlier but due to some mitigating circumstances that wasn't going to happen. Where as our last attempt with that "other" lender took 4 months of our time before finally telling us that it would be best if we withdraw our loan and start again in 45 days, John had our refinance closed in 3 weeks!! He didn't do anything different that the other but he sure as hell did it better!! Anytime someone asks me about mortgage loans, I will send them John's way. And, a huge plus, I am a Michigander at heart and a Lions fan. So nice to deal with someone back home who likes the Lions too!!"

I even feel annoyed about myself not understanding what's going on, but he is still there explaining over and over again to make sure we understand where we spend my money.
