Before applying with Rocket Mortgage and working with Kellen Smith other lenders that I contacted were very dismissive and not willing to help with my personal credit situation. Kellen took time to listen to my situation and made it work always with a friendly and extremely positive attitude. Most importantly he kept our realtor informed and because of him the sellers accepted our offer within hours. Again I can’t truly express in words how awesome Kellen is. I already had a pre approval from a local ...This review is for all the people considering going with a “local lender”. I did my homework ran my credit with 4 lenders one of which was Rocket Mortgage. I already had a pre approval from a local bank so getting a rough idea was all I was after. Once I called Rocket Mortgage I felt a little skeptical on how there numbers were a lot better whether it was my interest rate, closing cost, and even down payment. So I brought the quote to my local banks and within 5 mins of each all the lenders began scratching there head wondering how they could possibly compete. I immediately called Rocket Mortgage back “Owen Ash” and he assured me it was not just bait to get me to go with them, there offer was correct and he was ready to pull the trigger. So after telling him the final requests and how my finances were at he moment we came to an agreement in just a few phone calls back and forth. This is not a fake review I am a honest buyer from Rocket Mortgage/rocket mortgage. This was my first home purchase and I did years of research before ever actually purchasing and made several attempts to find the right deal. Owen did exactly what I asked of him and even had my loan closed with 22 days. If you are ready to buy get a few other quotes and then call Owen so you can see the difference in savings."

"This may be lengthy, and the first thing Desean showed me about his character was an incredible amount of patience with my ability to talk your ears off! I don't even know how or where to start with the things I have to say about this man. For people of faith, I know that his presence in my life was a "God thing." For people who don't necessarily walk that path, let it suffice to say that you cannot meet a better human being who will give you the extra mile, who will have your back (i.e. with reminders which, with a memory like Swiss cheese, I needed!), who truly listens, who gives so much of his time which, with a wife and children he treasures more than anything, is truly priceless --- I could go on and on. The bottom line? I looked forward to hearing from him. Most companies? I cringe a little when I see their name in my caller ID. In today's world, there is precious little integrity and pride in one's work. He not only got the job done, but he made sure I was reassured, and comfortable! Comfortable!!! I can't remember the last time a person went out of their way to ensure that I was in a good place during a business undertaking. Desean is truly an asset to this company; they are fortunate to have him representing them. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with him has been smiled upon by the Heavens, and I am not one to easily give positive comments in today's world. Stay awesome, Desean! Thank you for everything!"

Somehow though, Evan managed ...I keep coming back to Rocket Mortgage because they are easily the simplest, most collaborative and most insightful team out there when it comes to navigating home loans. Somehow though, Evan managed to exceed my already very high expectations. He responded almost instantly on a Sunday night when I first submitted my application, and from that point on he answered every question, big or small, at any hour of the day. He was incredibly proactive and strategic in how he helped me package my application, and he walked me through at least four different paths I could take while breaking down the pros and cons of each with real clarity. What stood out to me was how invested he was in helping me make the strongest, most confident decision for my situation. He anticipated questions I did not even know to ask, explained complex pieces of the process in a way that actually made sense, and made the entire experience feel far less overwhelming than it should have been. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting things right for his clients, and that level of thoughtfulness had a real impact on my peace of mind as I moved through a stressful milestone. Evan is collaborative, friendly, deeply knowledgeable and just an all around great person to work with. I felt supported the entire way through, and that kind of trust is rare. I applied for a mortgage online and literally 5 seconds after I hit submit my phone rang and a employee said "please hold for Doug." I explained to Doug what I was looking for and he immediately began assisting me with the process. We talked multiple times that day and subsequent days. The sellers were entertaining another offer and Doug took it upon himself to call the sellers to ensure them that my financing was rock solid, I mean who does this! During the process Doug was by far the most attentive and responsive mortgage consultant I have ever dealt with. He stayed abreast of the process the entire time and made me feel at ease. If I could give more then 5 stars I would, he was awesome."

"I had completely given up.I had talked to so many salesman,and heard so many times about what they, and their company could do for me.Only to be shot down in flames hitting the ground in one big final...I had completely given up.I had talked to so many salesman,and heard so many times about what they, and their company could do for me.Only to be shot down in flames hitting the ground in one big final fireball,feeling the burn,confusion,anxeity, and humiliation as I hung up the phone on yet another loan company.Bringing the tally up to about 11 companies that promised me a loan at a lower interest rate,and that my bad luck was over.So many times the disappointment of being rejected for one idioatic excuse after another seemed to be my lot in life.After all,everybody needs to work with a company that loans you money,at a very high interest rate and then won't let you re-finance for seven years while they continue to collect your monthly mortgage payment.I called them Legal Extortion Inc. or Loan Sharks are Us.That is until I met BILL,never in my life have I met a more sincere man that is hell bent on helping you to better yourself and your life.Unbelieveable,like the sun breaking thru the darkest of clouds,he got more done in one day than all the previous companies combined did in one month.Not only that,I had a so much clearer picture of what needed to be done,that I actually began to feel "Hope" again,gaurded yes,but hope none the less.When "Bill" say's he is working for you that is an understatement,he does so much more,and explains the procedures that you totally understand them better than ever before.I have never seen anybody that could explain in the simplest of terms,at the same time literally be in the ring slugging it out for you to clear a path for you to secure a loan.Since he wrestled those demon's down,and made that loan to me his "bitch" my life and my luck has been blessed with so many blessing's,that when I hit my knees at night to give thanks it takes more time every night because the blessings keep growing.But he is the person I thank "God" for first,because he is the man who turned this jaded,cynical,negative man a believer that it can be done,and to have faith again.One of the most honest,hard-working man,that I'am fortunate to have met.A man with "Grit",intestinal fortitude,determination,God bless him,his family,whom I'm sure is very proud of him,a credit to mankind.Amen.
