I own a home (and have the fixed mortgage that comes with it) back in Puerto Rico. Until 2023 it made sense financially to rent a home here in South Dakota. In 2023 the monthly payment to continue to rent a home in Wagner became unrealistically high. Is not that I could not pay it but it no longer made sence financially. That's when buying a second home here in South Dakota with a fixed mortgage made sence. I started to research how to get a mortgage to buy a home here in South Dakota. That research started with google from my mobile phone. Rocketmortgage.com was one of the first search results I got. I don't know any mortgage bankers here in South Dakota so I decided to give Rocketmorgage.com a try. Every day since 2015 I took my two labrador retrievers to a tennis court in Wagner, South Dakota so they could run freely and play. That was the setting where I contacted Rocketmortgage.com from a chat on their website. All from my mobile phone. Immediately a Senior Mortgage Banker from RocketMortgage.com reached out -> Maxwell Bednarek. Then he contacted my over the phone. In less than 10 minutes over the phone he pre-qualified me. He was very customer friendly and explained everything I needed to know to make the decision to go ahead and try to get a mortgage with Rocketmortgage.com. So we started the process and he was with me every step of the way. I never though that I actually could buy a home directly from the internet and using as a tool just my phone to make and receive phone calls and my email to receive and reply to messages ! Rocketmortgage.com is the future ! People like Max make you trust something as potentially not personal as the internet as a way to get a mortgage and buy a home which traditionally has been done by going to a regular bank and dealing in person with a Mortgage Banker. There is nothing wrong with that. That is how I got my mortgage in Puerto Rico for the home that I have there. However, my primary home which is here in South Dakota and is located in the city of Armour is the one that I purchased with the mortgage from Rocketmortgage.com and it is all thanks to Maxwell Bednarek. Thanks Max for your professionalism. You are part of the new group of Mortgage Bankers that will rule the mortgage business in the future all from the internet and Rocketmortgage.com is part of that future ! Thank you !"

His good nature came through from the beginning, and, remained the same to the very end of our business relationship with him. It was very obvious that he is a person who takes his profession and customer service very seriously. His calm and soothing voice came in very handy when we had to deal with challenges, especially since we were purchasing a home during the COVID-19 Pandemic. His soothing, verbal manner in relating to us, especially as Seniors who are not so highly technologically savvy, gave us the confidence, assurance and trust when we needed it most. The best part of Mike is that he is just a caring and trustworthy guy who knows his stuff which is an essential and priceless asset when assuming a mortgage! He wants the loan to work out as much as you do. He celebrated my appraisal report with me. He can be trusted. He was not the first agency that I spoke with. I changed over to him. The first agency the man made me feel pressured. That company was also giving me a higher interest rate. The man seemed frustrated. When I spoke with Adam the first time I knew that he was the right choice. I know this was an online loan but I felt safer doing this than I did when I first got my home loan through a hometown bank!"

Throughout all that I put him through Thomas’ professionalism ...I’ve been dealing with Thomas over the past year trying to refinance my house. To some extent, I was a difficult client to deal with. Throughout all that I put him through Thomas’ professionalism was in wavering. He was patient and understanding of my situation. He never pressured me towards anything and was always helpful as we worked out my refinance. I finally contacted him 3 weeks ago and he quickly locked me into a 30 yr conventional loan at 3.375%. He worked into the evening making sure we had everything covered and that enabled me to finally refinance my mortgage at a rate that benefits my family and I immensely. I recommend Thomas in handling any and all mortgage dealings. He has an in depth knowledge of the mortgage financing industry which based on his long tenure at Rocket Mortgage. He is more than capable of serving his clients’ mortgage needs."

Brandon Matti and Jennifer Parks held my hand, and walked me through the ups and downs of the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone! Even when I thought we were going to be declined and we hit some pretty huge holes in the road Jennifer and Brandon always let me know they were fighting for me and what we had to do to make things right. I am now living in my house for a little over a month and all my Thanks go to these 2 people. Not to mention with the app, and online log on for Rocket Mortgage you can always see what documents you need, what you need to do next, where in the process you are, and a little chat window for questions and concerns. Rocket Mortgage is defiantly where the future of mortgage is going. Now I only wish I lived closer to their headquarters, I myself have a customer service related job and would only be so lucky to work for a company with such amazing customer service support! What sold us on Quicken/Rocket was Rafael. He made the process super easy and super painless. He kept us up to date on everything, even calling us during his vacation. We were never wondering what happened next. He guided us through the process in a way that made us feel like he truly cared about us. I am a 30 year attorney who was relocating for a high level job. I didn't need anything to worry about. In prior loans, I always felt like they were hiding the ball (and often they were), but Rafael was upfront and diligent. He returned calls immediately. I have done this many times and would say that each was a horrible experience. This was the first mortgage that was pain free and problem free. Can no speak higher about Rafael."

He one day remarked to me that the reason I got his repeat business is because most people in America think customer service means just taking a check at the end of the sale and saying thank you, whereas I spent time actually getting to know him. I probably missed a lot of sales during the times I spent with him, but that compliment made up for it in spades."

By the time my file got to Victor I was completely discouraged and ready to give up, but the 7% interest rate we were paying told me to press forward. So I did! Victor ensured me that I would be the last person I spoke with and promised to see my file to close. HE DID JUST THAT! His continuous communication and knowledge of the mortgage industry was paramount to helping my situation. The road was not easy and there were a few moments of despair but Victor held steadfast and knew that our file could close. Victor, I scream THANK YOU!!!!
