We have been working since that date to complete a refinance on my home. We officially closed on August 6th. We have run into pitfals with response times from the government, appraisals, my homeowners association... you name it. Through this process, he has been patient and I felt he was there for me during the last few months. He never gave me the impression that he was annoyed with my questions, although I did ask many (and some questions more than once) and he was happy to explain what I needed to hear as much as possible until I fully understood.
Just one example I think is important for someone is his position: I told him I was rate shopping at the beginning of the process and he didn't make me feel bad for doing it, didn't try to push me not to, and fully explained why Rocket Mortgage was a better choice.
I also never felt like I was just a sale to him. He was always professional, don't get me wrong, but remembered small details about me personally and really seemed to understand my priorities. This process has been a long one but I can say with confidence that the reason I stuck with Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage) instead of moving to someone local is Austin.
Timing has been crazy across the board for appraisals but the first attempt was an FHA refinance, which kept timing out due to an appraisal. I would absolutely refinance with them in the future, but honestly they got my interest rate so low I don't think I'll need to."
