After this, he was very efficient and helpful in talking me through the steps to make an application. He was very clear, and everything he told me proved to be correct. First off, my realtor negotiated a 3 year interest rate buy down from my builder when my husband I purchased our new build almost 3 years ago. I first connected with Mason in the fourth quarter of 2024 to explore refinancing my home loan. Unfortunately, at the time, we couldn't find a product or interest rate that fit my situation. Despite that, Mason stayed in touch and consistently checked in to see if the market had shifted in my favor. I wanted to send some feedback about my experience with Ali's direct report, Marcus. I do not often write reviews, so I am writing this in hopes that this will be seen, and forwarded to his colleagues as an example of how putting in the time to be friendly and responsive really makes a huge difference for the end user. I started with Rocket Mortgage, against the advice of almost everyone I spoke with, and Marcus was very responsive. For this reason, when I went under contract on a home in Panacea, Fl. I decided to stay with Rocket Mortgage, as Marcus seemed to make the process seamless. My realtor was very weary of my decision, due to some past experiences she had working with Rocket Mortgage. However, the process went more smoothly than I could have imagined, and both Marcus and Monica were fantastic. We made it to closing day with no problems! We packed, and were ready for our new home and next adventure. Sadly, on the way to closing, I received a call that made my heart drop. Our soon to be home, where we were so happy to be, had burned to the ground the night before. As horrible as this was, Marcus was not only respectful of the emotional grief that I was feeling at the time, but was kind and ready to assist me once I started the house hunt again. This experience with Rocket Mortgage not only changed my opinion of working with a large company, but also completely changed the opinion of my realtor too. Once we started looking at other homes, she even mentioned how great this team was and made the process a breeze. She now has a great opinion of working with Rocket Mortgage, and with all of her clients on a day to day basis, this really impacts business as a whole, even for a large company. We are now under contract for another home, and have enjoyed working with Marcus again. We have thus far received the same high level of service, and I would now recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone searching for a home. The representative, David Alton who made first contact was extremely helpful with information and recommendations about what would work best for us as we worked through the process. Once again, Rocket Mortgage company did an efficient job of gathering information through online service. But, equally important was the personal, informed, professional one-on-one help from David Alton. A great company needs great people. Rocket Mortgage has one with David Alton. I referred my daughter to him as well for a mortgage refinance and he has been kind enough to walk her through some options as well."
