Ryan helped us as first time home buyers really understand the process and what all of our numbers meant, and get a realistic view of our financial picture and what we could afford. When challenges came up specifically with the buildings appraised rental income Ryan was able to think creatively alongside us to see the vision of the property and helped us navigate the many little ways we could get our debt to income to where it needed to be. Through the whole process Ryan was in our corner and really was a huge part of why we were able to make this challenging deal go through. I would highly recommend to seasoned investors and first time home buyers alike for his vision and knowledge."

This was not my first interaction with Rocket, but it was my first chance to work with you as my banker. Let me say up front, “Job well done.” Now, let me explain why. After a lifetime of leadership opportunities in service to our nation, I have learned to use a proven concept when looking at big decisions. I consider the evidence. I make my decision. Then, I challenge someone whom I can trust to “convince me I’m wrong.” It doesn’t matter how many times they fail. What matters is when they succeed, because that keeps me from making the wrong decision in critical situations. Consider the following example. As I looked to refinance my home, I was not inclined to consider using the Veterans Administration (VA) loan opportunities. However, my inclination was based on strongly held beliefs that were masquerading as facts in my mind. You had two options. You could just accept my inclination to ignore VA loans. Alternatively, you could find the best deal for me (including VA options) and then convince me why it was the best deal. At the end of the day, I accepted a VA loan because you presented a logical, cogent, fact based argument for my consideration. I believe that your success in the example above is based on a key attribute that is critical in your line of work. You apparently have a well-developed ability to listen and understand what your clients are asking. Then instead of just dismissing your client’s concerns, you find a way to address those concerns and to communicate with them. In short, it seems you “connected” with me as a partner in my journey, not just as a service provider. Another thing that I really appreciated was your responsiveness. As we took this journey to refinance my home, I came up with questions for which you couldn’t have had immediate answers. You took another approach that I have valued in the past. You had the integrity to admit that you needed to take a moment to look at it. Then you always quickly got back to me with a thoroughly researched response. In my mind, you exemplify exactly the type of individual that I would hire to work in my business. So thank you for the way you interacted with me during this process and making it quick and easy. Respectfully Jim PS. I rated you as “Excellent” only because there wasn’t a “Superior” option in the Likert Scale."
