Adam quickly initiated ...My experience with Rocket was one that convinced me to not to consider using the company again. Adam was very personable; however, the loan process left much to be desired. Adam quickly initiated communication on what needed to be done to start the loan. Within 48 hours, I had loaded all of the required documents into the portal. After that, it was over a week or so with no communication. I logged into my portal and saw there were no further tasks for me to complete. I reached out to Adam to inquire when the loan would move forward. Adam advised that he looked at the process, and it shouldn't be much longer before closing. Another week or so went by, and I had still not heard any further. I again logged into the system and noticed my load was still awaiting employment verification. This confused me because I had provided the W-2s and the most recent paychecks several weeks prior. I again reached out to Adam. Within a couple of hours, Adam and I had realized that underwriting had researched the wrong person. At this point, I was several weeks into the process. This was just the beginning. I scheduled to close online on a Friday, as this was flexible for my wife and me, as we both work. I logged in to the portal as scheduled and attempted to complete my required login to begin the closing process. The system did not allow me to proceed, closed the session, and advised me to call customer service. I communicated the issue to the Notary of the issue and attempted to call customer service. I was on hold for almost an hour waiting for someone to assist me! I was advised someone would call or email me within a few minutes to reschedule for the next day. Saturday morning came, and no one had reached out. My wife again called customer service and was on hold for over an hour with no one answering our call. She called again later in the day and was on hold for nearly two hours before being assisted. By Sunday, we had finally arranged to have an in-person Notary come to the house. Understanding the paperwork would be overnighted by Friday at the end of the week, I still had not received funds. Overall, this experience was not positive."
