I explain to her about all the tragedies I had over the past 5 years starting with a small tornado hitting my farm. I was cutting trees up when a branch broke and I fell and dislocated my shoulder and right elbow and broke my right wrist. While I was in the hospital they did a prescheduled physical. It turn out my prostrate cancer came back. My oldest son, who was a pharmacist in Fargo move here to help me. I gave him a rental house for coming here. He got a job at Carle hospital as a pharmacist. He started to help me at the farm but after 8 weeks he felt terrible. I rushed him to Carle and they ran test on him and it was determine he had a rare cancer of the appendix. I moved in with him and took him to Barnes and Northwestern to see if they could do anything. Northwestern did the surgery and after 6 hours closed him up. The head surgent said the cancer spread to every organ in his body and had 6 months to live. He past on May 19th 2024 at Carle hospital in my arms. I spent most of my savings taking care of him and finishing remodeling his house. I closed his estate in April of 2025. My oldest grandson said he would help me at the farm. I bought him a used pickup so he could drive down when he could. Alex was a son of another son of mine living here in Champaign. He was taking college courses at Parkland college at the time. In May of this year he took his own life. No one knows. Was well liked, no drugs. His services was on same day as my sons from previous year, May 19th. I helped with his funeral expenses. I was flat broke so I had to get this loan. Candice did everything a life long friend would do. She took the stress out of my life and checked on me on a daily basis. She's the greatest thing that has happen to me. I think God send me an angel!"

We went thru three properties, asking for pre-approved letters on all three, before we finally got an acceptance on the 4th property. Jozi had no problem adjusting each letter to fit the offer, and doing it promptly and cheerfully. We would highly reccomend her to anyone looking for a loan! "

Within a minute of connecting with Rocket Mortgage Bob called us and walked us through the process like we were the only people in the world- we felt important and cared about. It was a refreshing thing! Bob was highly knowledgeable and professional, but he was also very personable and friendly. I just can't say enough good stuff about him and how enjoyable he made this journey!"

Little did we know ...There is not a single negative thing to say about Mike. Purchasing my home began back in March of 2018. I found the home that I liked and got early occupancy in late June, 2018. Little did we know that the next 7 months would bring a lot of complexity and tears shed and severe frustration. At no time whatsoever did Mike lose his cool or professional aspect. He did all that he could in his power to get me my home. We have a closing date ready to come very soon. This would not be possible whatsoever without his help! His rating is certainly 12 stars out of 10; 5 starts does not even do justice."

So I tried several Mortgage companies. Every one told me the same thing, no! I read about Rocket Mortgage, one more try!! I called. Martin Rayis was put on the phone. As we talked I explained my situation, he said he would do everything to get me qualified. And he did. In a few days I was called asking for my personal information, income and such. Soon Martin told me he was certain it was going through. You will never know what that meant to me. Martin Rayis will never know how he helped me. Martin was so kind, always called when he said he would.
