The experience ...Five!! I am amazed at how well my-refi went. This is the first time in 10 years that I have any faith in my mortgage company. The other mortgage company I was with was a nightmare. The experience with Rocket Mortgage has been so much better-they work with you every step of the way, keep you informed and make it very easy to pay your mortgage. I pay my mortgage in 2 monthly installments electronically and the process is seamless! The Rocket Mortgage refi and closing process was painless, unlike my other financing and closing experiences. (Title companies make me feel uncomfortable. They don't give you a chance to preview the docs before signing and I always had the nagging feeling I was signing something I shouldn't be.) On the other hand, my experience with Rocket Mortgage couldn't have been better. The documents were express mailed to me several days before my scheduled closing so that I could review them completely. Rocket Mortgage's closer met me after work at my office, explained every document to me and I felt very comfortable with signing for the first time in my life. How cool is that?!!! "

Chris kept me informed through the whole process. I didn’t have electronic signature on my phone. He and another employee helped me download your mini app. It ended up being so helpful. Chris was organized and extremely patient. Our refinance was in the range I hoped for. He listened well. He always seemed to like his job because no matter what help we needed, he was always there for us. Getting a refinance was incredibly easy compared to others I’ve done over my adult life.The banking I’ve done with Rocket Mortgage was respectful, fair, mostly easy and completed in a shorter amount of time than possible with traditional businesses. Chris had all the people including the notary on time. I was amazed at how your company has such a well coordinated group of people including people in my home. He was amazing at coordinating people I needed to see in person. I never worried about the integrity of business with your company. Thank you for my 2nd or 3rd refinance with you. Chris could handle with class and integrity any promotion you give him in the future. I’m a teacher and really related to his positive and serious nature with doing the steps correctly. I just thought when i was done with Nick that i was done with the process and instead we were handed to another person who needed a whole new set of documents. That was a bit frustrating, but again probably not Nick's fault. Just an expectations thing. Thank you very much. "

"I was pretty much at the end of my rope trying to refinance my house. I applied to 3 different banks and was turned down primarily because of my lack of income. My house valued at $265,000 and I owed ...I was pretty much at the end of my rope trying to refinance my house. I applied to 3 different banks and was turned down primarily because of my lack of income. My house valued at $265,000 and I owed $81,000 and I had $15,000 total otherwise. I clearly understand my debt to ratio was a valid and a good reason to refuse me but I paid my mortgage religiously for over 35 years. Again, I know that doesn't matter. Matthew continued to try to help me and found other assets that I had but after not hearing from him for 1day I figured it was not going to be possible to get the refinance .But I had heard "no" so many times I was ok ,I can live without it. To make a long, boring read to the end I close on Thursay and I will get ev I asked for. Matthew was very good to me, was polite and professional. He's a really great guy."

She told me that he was “excellent and worked miracles.” When experiencing a major life change such as divorce, and solely relied on your husband that was responsible for all the finances for almost 30 years, it can be very intimidating and difficult to adjust to losing that. I had no idea about the refinancing process and what was involved. As I explained the situation to Mr. Shaw, he assured me he would guide me through the process. Clark was extremely through with answering many of the questions I had. Not once did I feel embarrassed or like he was overwhelmed by my questioning and the need of him to explain everything. He also made sure I understood everything. I also had a few things that I needed done in my home and Clark made that possible. This whole divorce process and experience of losing your family, and having to now do things alone, it is very hard to adjust to. I would have to say that this was the best experience I had with the new refinancing process Thanks to Mr. Shaw. I will without a doubt recommend and refer Clark Shaw to everyone and anyone I know. I cannot stress how much gratitude and appreciation I have for Mr. Shaw and working with him. I am so very thankful for my neighbor Sherri recommending me to go to Mr. Shaw. Not only did she get me an approval letter in a matter of a couple days (we had already put an offer in as my wife and I work backwards!) but she saw the whole purchase through until the end. Even when the account was "passed on" to the next specialist within Rocket Mortgages Laura remained involved to make sure everything was handled smoothly. Tuition, fees and living expenses are 78k per year. Initially, we went through the refinance process and were discouraged when we were not approved initially. I decided to go through the application for refinancing our home again wondering how we could be denied with an excellent credit score. When interest rates dropped to 2.75 I decided it was worth it. Jimmy was assigned to our application and his knowledge, experience, encouragement and availability were unparalleled. He was able to get us a 2.5 interest rate! Rocket Mortgage is fantastic because it is comprised of experts like Jimmy. My wife and I are now having our mother apply in Washington State. As it turns out, Jimmy is also certified in that state and can help her too! When you apply, make sure to ask for Jimmy."

He is also very quick to ensure that we get our loans pre-approved so that we are ready to present our offer and our financial backing when we started talking to a realtor and builder. He defended us when we tried to get a lower interest rate from Rocket Mortgage to match another lender. He gives reminders and calls to follow up to ensure that the goal is reached on time. I set a date to close on our house and he has helped me tremendously to ensure that it happens on that day! Even pushing me and reminding me of the things I also needed to do to meet my deadline... And we did meet my deadline! Talk about customer service! He involved as much people I needed from Rocket Mortgage to ensure that my papers are submitted and reviewed on time. Thank you so much! I have already recommended Michael to all of my colleagues who are also relocating from my company. I am recommending him to all of you who read these reviews.
