I was very scared, unsure, hurt and frankly did not know what to do or how to start the process to refi and have my abusive ex-husband taken off the loan. From other lenders I was told immediately "NO" and my ex-husband said I could have the house but 'NO ONE" would ever help me get a loan. It would be impossible because of my credit history which included a dismissed Chapter 13. It felt like an impossible battle, but I had faith that someone could help and God orchestrated a phone call with Sam. Sam was the first and only loan agent that listened to me, explained my situation and allowed me to cry :) She was encouraging, but did not over promise, Sam provided directions and advice and she never once made me "feel small" or like there was no hope. After the call she connected me with Jon to assist with my credit and he as well was phenomenal. I did everything they asked me to do. When Sam said she believed she could help me, I don't think she knew what ride we were about to take. I am sure that many of you have heard the stories. It was not easy to get to closing and despite what my family and friends said, I knew that I could trust Sam through this process. Sam showed me that people do care and even in the tough situations she handled it all with grace, kindness, empathy and professionalism. I could not say enough about Sam and Rocket Mortgage. Because of Sam and Rocket my grand-daughter and I have a home that we can call our own. There is so much more I could say! I pray that Rocket continues to help others as you have helped me. I don't know how you reward your employees at Rocket but whatever you do Sam Camilleri deserves it and more!! When we first contacted Chris Krupa we were approved, but Chris knew a better credit score would be better. So, he got us over to the credit team and Mario was able to tell is what to pay to get us to that next level. We were having trouble finding a house and I kept calling Chris to up our limit. He was always responsive and willing to try anything I asked. He was patient, kind, and caring. Chris was the puzzle piece that completed our journey. I do not believe this would have happened or been as easy if it wasn’t for him. We will always be grateful for his knowledge and expertise. "I closed on my house on November 4 of 2022. Before I called Rocket mortgage I called some other big mortgage company Nexa but did not offer a loan that I needed. I then called Rocket and spoke to Jake...I closed on my house on November 4 of 2022. Before I called Rocket mortgage I called some other big mortgage company Nexa but did not offer a loan that I needed. I then called Rocket and spoke to Jake and told him my situation that my mom is gifting me her half of the duplex and the owner of the other side is in probate and I wanted to buy to own entire property, Jake quickly came up with a solution by getting me an fha loan and using gift of equity as my down payment so I would not have to pay anything. He was so attentive, knowledgeable and helped me through entire process to answer questions or just to check up on me. This tells a lot about his character because the loan was only for $55,000 so he would not make much money but he treated me as if it was a million dollar mortgage. I am in a home buyers group on Facebook and was so nervous to go through loan process and hearing about the underwriting and how you have to explain every deposit and charge and so many bad things seem to happen, mine was so easy and got all my documents to them same day and had no questions, and I am a big shopper and had multiple big deposits, one for $8000 personal check but no questions arose and it went so fast and smooth. The title company put final #s together and had me paying $1300 at closing and he called them and said nope she is paying nothing and just like that it was gone! Interest rate 5.5% and never changed from beginning to closing. Took 45 days to close but only because I had to have 2nd inspection after repairs were done! Thanks Jake, I hope you are still around when I buy my investment properties! I also just paid my house in full that I did not want to forget to thank Jake for making it happen!"

We had discussed a consolidation of our first and ...When our efforts to refinance our first mortgage fell through due to incompetence on the lender as a whole, I contacted John at Rocket Mortgage. We had discussed a consolidation of our first and second with him earlier but due to some mitigating circumstances that wasn't going to happen. Where as our last attempt with that "other" lender took 4 months of our time before finally telling us that it would be best if we withdraw our loan and start again in 45 days, John had our refinance closed in 3 weeks!! He didn't do anything different that the other but he sure as hell did it better!! Anytime someone asks me about mortgage loans, I will send them John's way. And, a huge plus, I am a Michigander at heart and a Lions fan. So nice to deal with someone back home who likes the Lions too!!"
