It was a bit of a challenge but made it happen and got me across the goal line with closing escrow this past Monday! I can’t compliment him and Jay enough for making this happen! "Wow from the first moment we spoke on the phone Corbin was so positive in his ability to take care of our situation. 2 years prior I signed a loan for my son a new truck. At the time my credit score ...Wow from the first moment we spoke on the phone Corbin was so positive in his ability to take care of our situation. 2 years prior I signed a loan for my son a new truck. At the time my credit score was mid 700's. Soon after he was making late payments and ultimately defaulted on the loan. My credit plummeted to the mid 500's My wife and I struggled for 2 years to bring our score to low 600's. We had leased the home we purchased for 6 years. We were never late paying our rent. We built a great relationship with the homeowner. My wife loved the home and one day hoped we could purchase it. The owner called one day wanting to know if we thought we could get financed as she needed to sell the home. I reached out to Rocket Mortgage praying there may be a chance we could obtain financing. At 63 years of age I felt the odds were not in our favor. Corbin said hey I have you. This young professional kept his word. He worked for us like we were the only applicant Rocket had. Late night calls for more information and early morning calls with uplifting news. His relentless efforts put my wife and I at ease. Both times, Mr. Darfoor was available to answer any questions my clients and I had, quick to respond if he should miss our call, and made the home-buying process a pleasant experience for my client. The first time we worked together, I was on a cruise when our offer was accepted and Mr. Kofi stayed in touch with my clients and made sure nothing was missed. The second time we worked together, everything was ready to close a good 2 weeks before our closing date. My only regret is that I didn't know Mr. Kofi when I went through the home-buying process. He gave me clear and honest options to relieve my financial burden. I prayed about and slept. I decided to keep my existing mortgage and talk to my creditors myself to keep my low interest and look at the future. Today I was able to negotiate 23k at 0-4% with his guidance. Soon I will be in a better situation and he saved me from leveraging my only asset my home. As I told him today. Instead of walking with the storm I’m going against it.
