Only one important improvement needed, customers who are frustrated with a process would cope better if folks like Manar to the time to explain WHY things were happening. Rocket Mortgage/Rocket kept saying they were checking my employment--I was annoyed! This happened several times. I did not realize as time passes this information needs to be RE-verified every 30 days. If Manar just explained that, I am reasonable, and I would have understood and I would have had far more patience. Customer service must be direct, clear, and thorough. In all other ways, Manar was great!"

I decided to use Rocket Mortgage as my existing residence was financed thru Rocket Mortgage. It was my good fortune to be connected with Andrew Romaya, a Purchase Mortgage Banker. I asked Andrew if they dealt in VA Loans and was assured that they deal in all kinds of Loans, including VA and would be more than happy to assist me. Andrew and I developed a good bond almost immediately. I found Andrew to be be informative and his knowledge and expertise were excellent. Andrew had me VA pre-approved Loan within the hour. I made an offer on a residence in Charleston and have signed a written offer. I just finished up the paperwork and starting with the initial phone to completion of paperwork was just over 48 hrs. The peace of mind that comes with this is immense. I hope to be able to consider Andrew a friend and of course my Go to Guy for all matters relating to Mortgage issues. Paul was proactive, diligent, and thoughtful during every interaction. The Rocket Mortgage process was an efficient one, from pre-approval, to approval, and ultimately to closing. Its web portal is developed well and plays a critical function in information amalgamation. Paul’s ability to communicate well and manage customer expectations made for an overall seamless experience. All of the aforementioned characteristics are certainly ones you should expect, but often do not receive, from any service provider or company. However, Paul even went above and beyond in a number of ways. These were the actions that ultimately differentiates Paul from others that I have worked with in a similar capacity. First, honesty and transparency. Paul’s unbiased advice allowed me to have critical information in various areas from a home financing insider. This allowed me to make informed and efficient decisions. Second, relationship. Clearly, it is evident that trying to build rapport and deeper relationships with customers is important to Paul. He took the time to get to know not only my wife and me, but also our situation and preferences. To then navigate and ‘hand hold’ us through every phase of the financing process, allowed us to never feel directionless in this journey. Lastly, continuous improvement. Paul asked for feedback on his and Rocket Mortgage’s performance at various points in time. I can only surmise that this was in an effort to improve on any areas where customers thought there could be room for improvement. It is comforting to know that Paul takes into account opinions from his customers and continuously seeks to improve his engagement and service. Overall, I could not be more pleased in choosing Rocket Mortgage as a financing partner, and, of course, having the great pleasure to work with Paul. "

However, in order to do that we needed to get pre-qualified for a mortgage loan. Initially, I spent most of my weekend trying to get in contact with a mortgage broker for assistance but no one returned my call. I was in a jam, I wanted to be the first person to put in an offer to the condo. Desperately, I surfed the web and found Rocket Mortgage. At first, I was very hesitant of doing business with someone online. However, I took a chance and it was the best decision I ever made. I came in contact with Matt from Rocket Mortgage and within 30 minutes of filling out my application, he gave me a call. Not only did he make time to call me over the weekend, but he also answered any questions that I had as well as walked me through each step needed in order to get pre-qualified. At the end of our conversation, I was very impressed with his knowledge, patience and most importantly his professionalism. I would recommend Matt to anyone who is looking to buy a home! I remember the process being extremely stressful and complicated when I purchased my first home and was weary at the thought of having to do it again, times two! I spoke with Josh about our situation and he not only offered his professional services, but also advice and insight on how the process would work. Josh was never pushy, allowing us to take our own path and the time we needed to do it. I know that I always ask a ton of questions, and Josh was there to answer every one of them. He always stayed in contact with me, often giving me updates the second they would post to my Rocket Mortgage page. Josh was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. his entire team of Rocket Mortgage employees were just as kind as him. Over the 6 months we waited, he had a great follow up cadence that was not pushy or over bearing. Even though I rarely called him back, he continued to provide insight into the changing rates and options for when I was ready to move forward. When the time was right, I had a million more questions and scenarios I asked him to run through which he did with the utmost professionalism. He was always available when I needed him, even when he was not in the office. AJ is top notch and made the purchase of our new home quick, easy and stress-free. I was hesitant because my fear was that I was locking myself into something that would not be beneficial for me and my family. Once I started speaking with Chris I began to better understand my options. At no time did I feel pushed or rushed into making a decision. Chris is extremely knowledgeable, personable, professional and always made himself available if I had a question. In the rare circumstance Chris did not have the answer, he immediately would connect me with someone that did. "Lee and Rocket Mortgage was able to give us more than we'd hoped for. Because we were with Rocket Mortgage, we wanted to give them first shot. Well the quote they gave us was just not what we wanted, ...Lee and Rocket Mortgage was able to give us more than we'd hoped for. Because we were with Rocket Mortgage, we wanted to give them first shot. Well the quote they gave us was just not what we wanted, So we went with NewDay USA. We were ready to close. We already got the appraisal and everything. That's when Lee contacted me and asked me to give him a chance. I was going around and around with NewDay, they just wouldn't come down below 3%. They wanted 3.75% with 2 points to get to 3.25 and $25000 cash. Lee said he could get me 2.25% and $35000 cash. We were floored. We called NewDay and said hold everything. I even asked if I needed to pay the $600 for the appraisal and NewDay said. Don't worry about it, they would eat it. Rocket was able to use their appraisal and we are in a comfortable loan that we can afford thanks to Lee. I thought he was going to get fired over that one. Thanks Lee"

It led to my first conversation with Jacob, who right from the start praise me for my service and assured me that I was qualified for a low interest VA loan with my good credit. Once I had the final decree of divorce in my hand I contacted Jacob on a Friday to let him know the numbers that the court had laid down. The next day on a Saturday we were on the phone and starting the process of my refinance loan, and two months later, my home was officially my home again, with a mortgage payment that fit my budget. I'm forever grateful Fort Jacob and his teams help, and believing in me financially."
