Thank you for your time and patience to explain everything we came to you with. Even the simplest of questions included of when you helped us set up our login to the Rocket Mortgage website. It's the small gestures that one often remembers when everything is set and done. Over all it was a smooth process which we feel was only due to who we were working with. Jim helped set up a Cash-Out Refinance loan to pay for an addition ...I closed last week on a loan from Rocket Mortgage, and it was the most pleasant and effortless mortgage experience I have ever had. Jim helped set up a Cash-Out Refinance loan to pay for an addition we are building. He tweaked the loan amount I had requested until it exactly matched the monthly payment I wanted. This extra attention to detail allowed me to borrow more of my home’s equity, cover all the closing costs, and receive more cash out than if he had simply stuck to the "round number" I initially asked to borrow… all without exceeding my target monthly payment. Jim patiently walked me through all the numbers in the pre-application worksheet so I had a very clear understanding of how his estimate compared to a competitor (the credit union to which my husband and I belong). Jim even negotiated on my behalf to get Rocket's closing costs to match the competitor's terms. The last factor that clinched my decision to go with Rocket was the time to closing, which he said could be as soon as 3 weeks. True to his word, we closed the loan exactly 21 days from the day we signed the application. Rocket Mortgage offered more value, and then delivered on every promise. Rocket’s business model is outstanding, with a web interface that makes a complicated process extremely easy to follow. Not once did I wonder whether there was something I needed to do or where we were in the process. All I had to do was log in and look for my outstanding tasks. Green check-marks told me at a glance whenever my part was complete. Their communications via email and text message were timely and never so frequent as to be annoying. What really surprised me is that - amid all the automated communications and digital efficiency - this experience never felt impersonal. That’s definitely due to Jim’s quick responsiveness. I appreciate the many ways in which he provided answers, reassurance, and the warmth of friendly human connection. Kudos to both Jim and Rocket for reminding me what excellent customer service looks and feels like.  I am happy to recommend Rocket Mortgage, and specifically Jim LaFontaine, for a worry-free lending experience."

After months and months of searching, we found our perfect house – now the problem was – how do you get a mortgage on a new house when you already own one. We computed multiple mortgage possibilities and they all said the same thing – you don't qualify. We had seen commercials for Rocket Mortgage and we had received letters stating that Rocket Mortgage could maybe get us a better rate on our current home. On a whim, we called Rocket Mortgage and told them I didn't want to refinance but questioned what could they do for us on a new house mortgage. The person I was talking to was not in that department, but he assured me that someone would contact me. True to his word, within hours I received a call from Adam Julien. I explained our situation. Of course he crunched the numbers and came up with the initial conclusion everyone else had – but that's where the similarity ended. He listened. He knew how passionate I was about purchasing this new house. He researched and something his resources to see if there was a chance he could make it happen for us. We had investments, but they didn't qualify in the loan crunching. Short story, Adam figured out a way we could use our investments and we qualified. No one else listened. No one else even gave us the time of day. Adam did. Adam is my hero. He made it possible for us to purchase our dream home. I love it so much, and I love him for making it happen. He really cares. This is the bottom line: he listens to his clients. He bothers to know what they really want and need and he finds a way to make these dreams happen. I am blown away by his diligence. He made my dream come true. I love him. He is a member of my family forever."

I knew this and was planning a more aggressive plan to pay it down, but it would have been impossible to keep up with the rising rates. His suggestion to lock in a fixed loan at a good rate struck home and we will be saving a lot of money. Also HE loans will no longer be tax deductible, so a double savings for us. Of course he was always there during the application process and made it less painful. Thanks Brian. Helm"

This was our first experience using Rocket Mortgage and he made us feel like we were his only customers. I guess I thought we would be dealing with a loan company strictly online - had no idea how personal everything would be. Example: We actually changed our mind about the first house midstream through the process - I texted him on Sunday evening to let him know, and asked him to get back to me on Monday. But he called me right back that same Sunday evening within the hour. He expedited the process to make sure we closed on time, since we had just sold our own home. He was so good at explaining everything from the very beginning and kept in touch with us through the entire process. He patiently answered so many questions for us and never made us feel like we asked a stupid question. I have praised Bruce and Rocket Mortgage to all my family and friends. I HIGHLY recommend him!"

He was eager to get us moving forward, but never fell into the high pressure that you come across in other places. Even after handing the over to the next phase in my refinancing, Chris was available and checked in to see how we were doing. Going in, I was a bit toward the "Just grit your teeth and we'll fight through" end of the spectrum on my expectations but Chris made the whole thing simple and easy. Chris was an invaluable resource and a standout amongst the fine team that I dealt with at Rocket Mortgage. If only we could clone Chris and have him everywhere else that I have to do business - ha, wouldn't that be cool."

I was especially impressed with how easy he made everything from start to finish. He answered all of my questions and every email was responded to in a timely fashion. He estimated the time it would take to close the loan and he was right on the money…..just a little over 3 weeks. When we ran into a little snafu verifying my husband’s employment, Jason made a few calls to fix the problem and before we knew it, we were on our way to closing. This is customer service at its finest! Thank you Jason, and thank you Rocket Mortgage for making the process quick and simple!"

I was told another two months at that point I surfed the web and found Rocket Mortgage I sent a email requesting information within a half hour I received a call from Zak we talked and by that Saturday I was preapproved then I was contacted by Elizabeth who then put me in touch with Scott my real estate agent and low and behold I have place a offer on a home and I am beginning the loan process all of this in under two weeks after trying to get approved for over two years. Zak and everyone affiliated with him has been wonderful. They have all gone beyond the call of duty to make this a great experience for me. They kept me in the loop; Zak walked me through every process and I had every question and concern addressed. All I can say is excellent customer service and genuine concern and friends for life"

He put a lot of time into researching and then determining what loan option would be best for me. Matthew was always very honest and transparent with me through the entire process. He didn’t hide anything and was always available for my questions. He also encouraged me to wait until I found the right home for me through our almost six month house hunt, even though, it would have benefitted him to get me in process as soon as possible. Even after completing the process Matthew continues to check in with me on how things are going with my house. Not only did Matthew help me through my home buying process, but he also showed genuine concern and compassion for me after losing my brother during the house hunting process. Matthew displays the highest levels of integrity and truly cares about doing what is best for his clients as opposed to just getting clients through the loan process.
