Honestly, Josh was the one who made the process extremely easy for us (but to be fair the rest of the staff were great too, Josh was simply extra helpful) to the point that we thought this was a scam because it was to good to be true. While we had a hiccup with the initial mortgage (property failed inspection), Josh was there to help us through it all and explain the next steps and set expectations. He even went out of his way to take calls after hours just to help us out as quickly as he could. Considering that our case might have been unusual (or maybe not) since we went through two properties until we found the right home, we were lucky to have Josh in our corner throughout it all. Additionally, the Rocket Mortgage process in general is light years ahead of other banks (at least compared to our past experience with Chase and Citibank), all of the paperwork is submitted electronically (I mean Citibank... seriously... a fax machine...) and the Rocket Mortgage website/app added additional ease to the entire process. At any rate, if you are lucky enough to have him as your representative, rest assured, he will help you through it all. Think of Josh as your Parisian tour guide, he knows it all and is there to make sure you do not get lost."

To that point, he even answered my call one time when he was on vacation in Disney Land!!! My first conversation with him was just information gathering a few months prior to being able to move forward & I was clear with him about that up front. He understood and patiently stayed in touch at appropriate intervals with no high pressure tactics, unlike other lenders I did similar information gathering with. As we made progress and things changed during the offer & negotiations, Justin was always willing to explore options, not just the ones he thought were the best, but the ones I wanted to know about so I could look at this major life event from different angles. I have no hesitation in recommending his services; Rocket Mortgage/Rocket Mortgage is lucky to have him."

We wanted to go forward, and Rick was very accommodating by setting a time at our convenience to call us and guide us through our entire online application. He went over each section with us as we went along, and we were done! He then explained what financial documents we would need to submit and that an appraiser would be contacting us soon, and to feel free to contact him if we had any questions or concerns. Rick made it very easy to get the process started."

He was able to arrange the loan amount that I needed and figure out the best options for my down payment, interest rate and closing costs. He guided the process though all the various departments and procedures to get the necessary approvals at each stage and all this was done online. However he called, texted and e-mailed whenever their was urgency or information that needed my immediate attention. This personal attention to detail and diligence throughout the process was the key ingredient that allowed me to close on my new house on schedule. His "can do" attitude was what made this happen for me and I appreciate his effort, guidance and professionalism. Thank you JohnPatrick!"

"I closed on my house on November 4 of 2022. Before I called Rocket mortgage I called some other big mortgage company Nexa but did not offer a loan that I needed. I then called Rocket and spoke to Jake...I closed on my house on November 4 of 2022. Before I called Rocket mortgage I called some other big mortgage company Nexa but did not offer a loan that I needed. I then called Rocket and spoke to Jake and told him my situation that my mom is gifting me her half of the duplex and the owner of the other side is in probate and I wanted to buy to own entire property, Jake quickly came up with a solution by getting me an fha loan and using gift of equity as my down payment so I would not have to pay anything. He was so attentive, knowledgeable and helped me through entire process to answer questions or just to check up on me. This tells a lot about his character because the loan was only for $55,000 so he would not make much money but he treated me as if it was a million dollar mortgage. I am in a home buyers group on Facebook and was so nervous to go through loan process and hearing about the underwriting and how you have to explain every deposit and charge and so many bad things seem to happen, mine was so easy and got all my documents to them same day and had no questions, and I am a big shopper and had multiple big deposits, one for $8000 personal check but no questions arose and it went so fast and smooth. The title company put final #s together and had me paying $1300 at closing and he called them and said nope she is paying nothing and just like that it was gone! Interest rate 5.5% and never changed from beginning to closing. Took 45 days to close but only because I had to have 2nd inspection after repairs were done! Thanks Jake, I hope you are still around when I buy my investment properties! I also just paid my house in full that I did not want to forget to thank Jake for making it happen!"
