Scott made a stressful process a thousand times easier. He was personable and friendly from the start, which made me feel more comfortable after reaching dead ends with a few smaller lending companies. Scott went above and beyond to check in with me, walk me through various processes, answer my questions and keep my head above water. I can't thank him enough for helping me secure my first home!"

"I closed on my house on November 4 of 2022. Before I called Rocket mortgage I called some other big mortgage company Nexa but did not offer a loan that I needed. I then called Rocket and spoke to Jake...I closed on my house on November 4 of 2022. Before I called Rocket mortgage I called some other big mortgage company Nexa but did not offer a loan that I needed. I then called Rocket and spoke to Jake and told him my situation that my mom is gifting me her half of the duplex and the owner of the other side is in probate and I wanted to buy to own entire property, Jake quickly came up with a solution by getting me an fha loan and using gift of equity as my down payment so I would not have to pay anything. He was so attentive, knowledgeable and helped me through entire process to answer questions or just to check up on me. This tells a lot about his character because the loan was only for $55,000 so he would not make much money but he treated me as if it was a million dollar mortgage. I am in a home buyers group on Facebook and was so nervous to go through loan process and hearing about the underwriting and how you have to explain every deposit and charge and so many bad things seem to happen, mine was so easy and got all my documents to them same day and had no questions, and I am a big shopper and had multiple big deposits, one for $8000 personal check but no questions arose and it went so fast and smooth. The title company put final #s together and had me paying $1300 at closing and he called them and said nope she is paying nothing and just like that it was gone! Interest rate 5.5% and never changed from beginning to closing. Took 45 days to close but only because I had to have 2nd inspection after repairs were done! Thanks Jake, I hope you are still around when I buy my investment properties! I also just paid my house in full that I did not want to forget to thank Jake for making it happen!"

We found our dream home Jan 20, and confidently made an offer with the power of rocket mortgage behind us. 25 days later, we were at closing and officially homeowners. We went into this process with the worst in our minds. We thought it would be difficult, a lot of paper work, and hard to contact the team. I can tell you first hand, that was not the case. Our Mortgager, Steven Youanis was the absolute best for the job! He stayed in contact with us from beginning to end. He was a liaison when we needed. He explained everything to us, patiently answered all our questions, and guided us the whole way through. I have since referred him several times and will continue to do so. "Sumer was a very pleasant person to work with as we walked through the refinance of my existing 30 mortgage into a lower interest 15 year mortage. We were dealt a curve ball when our house didn't ...Sumer was a very pleasant person to work with as we walked through the refinance of my existing 30 mortgage into a lower interest 15 year mortage. We were dealt a curve ball when our house didn't appraise at the required value to roll both our primary and our LOC into one shorter term mortgage. Though I wasn't pleasant to deal with after receiving this news, she maintained her composure and really worked hard to find a package that would help at least lower our interest rate on the primary and shorten the term, thus saving us a considerable amount of money over the life of the loan. Throughout the process Sumer provided me with a couple of options to consider and was very thorough in walking me through how these options would roll themselves out over time. She was a very professional and pleasant person to deal with and I appreciate her willingness to look past my frustration and push forward in such a way that I honestly could see the value in the process of refinancing. We are already seeing a rapid reduction in our principle balance."

I was moved to tears, literally, by his ability to help my husband and I refinance our mortgage and consolidate our debt. Today has been what I call "a God thing" kind of day. It has been a rough three years that began before we actually closed on the house. I'm finally getting that "new to me, let's make this our nest" kind of feeling. I sincerely can't thank James enough. He didn't give up on us. He didn't make it hard. He brought happy tears! If you have an employee recognition program, James certainly deserves to be recognized.
