I knew that it was a good idea to shop around, but that is only useful if you know what to look for. By chance, I had an ad for Rocket Mortgage on my Mint app and decided to follow through, and I'm so glad I did. I was paired up with Jimmy. He took the time to listen to my life, my finances, and my needs. He explained and re-explained details about the process ENDLESSLY. I was very ignorant about the financial realm of home-buying, and fortunately he was very patient. He talked with me many times even BEFORE I signed a document to do the mortgage officially with Rocket. He secured the best deal for me, helping me choose based on my end goal of low down payments. I would highly recommend him!"

TRAVIS was EXCELLENT! He was very knowledgeable, comfortable to talk with and made EVERYTHING a simple and EASY process! Everything Travis advised me from day 1 came to pass even though I am over seas working for DoD (which is a special circumstance), Travis assured that we can get the deal done after he pulled my credit and saw my circumstances! A very strong ASSET to any company / corporation and I told my wife many times Travis is a most trusted and go to guy and my wife agreed (hey what's up with that Travis)?! Travis even tracked our progress and congratulated us after the final closing when he was miles away from end process that lead to closing. Its because of Travis that we had a great experience in refinancing our home with a great interest rate and we are saving over $750.00 a month! Thanks Travis, much success to you."

However, ...I recently used Rocket Mortgage as the mortgage lender when I purchased my first home. Since I was a first-time homebuyer, I was not knowledgeable about much of the home-buying process. However, once I connected with Jeremy, I was relieved! He was there every step of the way, guiding me and answering all of my questions. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and timely in responding to my questions, and there were times when he even responded while away from the office. Jeremy was an amazing mortgage banker! I would work with Rocket Mortgage again for the great customer service, and Jeremy was a major contributor to this outstanding customer service. I will specifically request to work with Jeremy if I work with Rocket Mortgage in the future. Jeremy is excellent, and I will definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking to purchase a home. He is one of the best service professionals that I have ever worked with. He is a great asset to the Rocket Mortgage team, and I am grateful for having been given the opportunity to work with him!"

As a first time buyer there are just moments during this process that are truly unbearable and will make you complete give up on this journey and having someone like Alex in my corner was a BLESSING. He truly made me feel like he cared and wanted to see me succeed in getting into not a just a random house, but a HOME! I LITERALLY DON'T HAVE THE WORDS AND I'M ACTUALLY WRITING THIS WITH TEARS IN MY EYES AS I LAY IN MY BED, IN MY HOME (not house). Somehow though, Evan managed to exceed my already very high expectations. He responded almost instantly on a Sunday night when I first submitted my application, and from that point on he answered every question, big or small, at any hour of the day. He was incredibly proactive and strategic in how he helped me package my application, and he walked me through at least four different paths I could take while breaking down the pros and cons of each with real clarity. What stood out to me was how invested he was in helping me make the strongest, most confident decision for my situation. He anticipated questions I did not even know to ask, explained complex pieces of the process in a way that actually made sense, and made the entire experience feel far less overwhelming than it should have been. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting things right for his clients, and that level of thoughtfulness had a real impact on my peace of mind as I moved through a stressful milestone. Evan is collaborative, friendly, deeply knowledgeable and just an all around great person to work with. I felt supported the entire way through, and that kind of trust is rare. I have been going through some very difficult family, health and work issues this past year and it leaked over to my finances. If it was not for John and his team I think I would still be feeling overwhelmed and defeated. What can I say about John Gandara. He listened to my embarrassing and crazy life story that got me into this financial mess. He was very patient and did not judge me. It made me feel safe to admit I made a mess of my finances and I needed help to get back on track. Mr. Gandara and his team were all very positive and upbeat throughout the whole process. I was expecting him to tell me I was denied the home loan. However, he was able to able to create magic and refinanced my home loan with debt consolidation. This loan is saving me a few thousand dollars a month and has gotten the gorilla off my chest. John also gave me some sound financial advice and ideas for short term goals to assist in saving additional money. I will be working on those goals and thanking God everyday John Gandara and his team were sent to me. My families finances are not at all cookie cutter (retired with commercial partnership property holdings) - Shane was quick to grasp this, always maintained a can do attitude after screening, and determined to find a way to make the loan happen, not the opposite. As he put it, it was a complex set of circumstances, yet he and his Rocket team did just that...made it happen.
