He assured me that he and the team's at Rocket Mortgage, would not let that happen. He was right!!! With in 20 minutes of our conversation, Jacob had my options, his plan, and all I had to do was say, "let's do it"!!! He made it easy, it was simple. Jacob knows his stuff! He promptly returns phone calls, and answers all of our questions right away. He was great in finding us the best refinance plan which is going to save us hundreds of dollars a month. "I was looking for help with my mortgage from Wells Fargo, and I was denied. I was with that bank for almost 20 years and this was the very first time that I ever asked for help. Not only did my ...I was looking for help with my mortgage from Wells Fargo, and I was denied. I was with that bank for almost 20 years and this was the very first time that I ever asked for help. Not only did my request for help get denied, they tried to"steal"my home. Not knowing what to do, or where to turn to, I reached out to Rocket Mortgage (Rocket Mortgage) . The person who answered my plea for help, on the other end of the phone, was Tom Velten. What a godsend he was! He listened to my plea and he offered to look into my cause and Tom immediately got down to working on my loan. When I tell you that everything was seamless, it was seamless and extremely fast. Within 2 hours of my very first contact with Tom, we were well on our way to having our loan approved. Not even 2 weeks have passed and I'm heading to closing. Everything went exactly like Tom informed me that it would go. It's interesting to note that my mortgage payment went down by almost $100 per month and the new payment includes 2 credit cards that I'm going to pay off. I absolutely enjoyed working with Tom. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to obtain their very first mortgage or if you're looking to refinance. Don't expect them to be able ...I was nervous to initially check it out, there was always an one excuse or another not to do it. My credit is not the very best but it is decent and it really has to be. Don't expect them to be able to accomplish a un realistic home loan. Be honest with Rocket Mortgage and the team assigned to you but more importantly be honest with yourself. Don't expect miracles, know your budget, be prepared, be proactive and most importantly be patient and respond to their request immediately. It's your loan after-all even though you'll feel like the team is only working on your loan, keep in mind they are also working on others and their loans but their response to your concerns are still their highest priority. Even by email which in some cases are at odd late / early morning hours. Just shows you they are definitely working on your behalf to give you their very best effort to make your loan happen. If your expectations are realistic and your honestly expecting a good experience you'll be satisfied. Unless your assigned Loan specialist team is Logan and his team then good won't be "good enough" of a rating you'll actually recieve an excellent experience. Also would like to say to you all that Logan's team includes a beautiful coordinator/specialist named Taylor working on your loan and she is a Rockstar, I give Taylor 100 stars as she is fantastic in all areas as well. If I had to do it again I'd request and not quit requesting for Logan and Taylor to be assigned to accomplish my loan package that's how great they are. Logan and team made me the happiest new home owner i could be and like I stated above they are what makes the Veterans United Home Loan experience stand out among the rest."

"Hi, Jacob was amazing to work with. When he notified me that he would work my loan application, I was already stressed out because my home mortgage had just been sold again, for the third time in 1 ...Hi, Jacob was amazing to work with. When he notified me that he would work my loan application, I was already stressed out because my home mortgage had just been sold again, for the third time in 1 year and one month, and once again I was told by the new mortgage company that the original loan did not escrow enough property taxes (not even half of enough) and that I would need to send a large sum of money to cover the shortages (that both of the first two loan Escrows didn't cover. They gave me one month to send them $1,900 and the loan payment was still going to go up quite a bit. I paid the $1900, but I was devastated. Jacob assured me that he could find a loan package for me because I had excellent credit and had had a loan with Rocket Mortgage when I live in my previous home. Jacob was kind, thorough and professional in dealing with me. He communicated often until he went on Maternity Leave, I was very appreciative of that. I began to feel that Jacob would do everything that he said he would to assist me and I feel he went above and beyond. This is the kind of professional that we need in the business world to make our lives run a little smoother. I will always be grateful for the kind of service Jacob provided me."

Using the information available at Rocket Mortgage he recognized exactly why I was looking to refinance and made suggestions that would benefit me in the long term and allow me to use my VA benefit in the process. He followed through on the loan application with me and provided me with extremely accurate estimates of the costs and benefits that were available to me. I am completely satisfied with the loan, the professional services Philip provided, and the timeliness of the process.
