I shopped my refinance with three other lenders, including my current lender that wasn't Rocket Mortgage (Rocket Mortgage). After speaking with Chris, he was detail-oriented, professional, and very knowledgeable about the entire mortgage process with Rocket Mortgage. So much so, he put the other loan officers to shame! So we decided to refi w/Rocket Mortgage and I'm very happy that we did! When doing a mortgage loan, the process is usually pretty easy, unless something unforeseen pops up. This is where the good mortgage companies separate themselves from the average ones, by coming up with a workable solution, and this situation happened to me. Our home appraised for 15% less than even Rocket Mortgage had projected! This was due to the appraiser using year old comps and ignoring newer model-match comps. I put together a property profile of all the recent sales in my area and despite showing 5 model-matches that sold within 6 months, the appraiser wouldn't adjust his valuation! I thought the loan was killed because the value put me under 20% equity in my house, meaning I'd still have PMI. But Rocket Mortgage contacted me saying they had a solution. I didn't return their calls for a couple weeks thinking whatever their solution was, it involved PMI so it makes no sense to move forward. Luckily they called me one day and I picked up the phone! While their solution did involve PMI, the PMI payment itself was less than 1/3rd my current PMI payment because I had over 10% equity in the house. In addition, the PMI automatically falls off after 30 months. After doing the math, I'd pay the same amount in PMI w/my current mortgage in one year! So we decided to refi into a 15 year loan and we've been happy since! Thanks Chris for all you've done for us and I'll definitely be referring my friends and family to you. Dave"

Using the information available at Rocket Mortgage he recognized exactly why I was looking to refinance and made suggestions that would benefit me in the long term and allow me to use my VA benefit in the process. He followed through on the loan application with me and provided me with extremely accurate estimates of the costs and benefits that were available to me. I am completely satisfied with the loan, the professional services Philip provided, and the timeliness of the process. If you are looking into a Refinance, and have equity in your current home, I highly recommend giving Rocket Mortgage and Philip Ducher a call."

I love that and feel like they are looking out for us because we probably wouldn’t have refinanced if he hadn’t called and we wouldn’t have saved money and years on our loan! I always rave about Rocket Mortgage and the fantastic service they’ve provided to us over the last 3 years. Probably will continue to work with them forever!"

I am still left in awe, not only at the mystical and magical timing of Gabi Rome's call to me, (I was unhappily mid-stream with another company) but also how she conducted herself through the whole process. Gabi is not only a professional of the highest quality, she is an authentic, loving, caring person who radiates on every level of her being her desire to help. I have never met a more positive and wonderful team leader! She empowered me as a woman by gracefully education me and patiently answering all my questions. I always felt supported which motivated me to keep pace with Gabi and her team so we could get to the finish line. Due to the fact I was not in the states when I started the process we began with texts and were then able to get to phone for a conversation. After I explained my situation that most of the [process would need to be online he was very understanding. He never made it seems like certain things could not be done even though I was not always able to call and talk directly with him. Chuck would always answer an email or text within a couple of hours. Even when I could not get in touch there was someone there who was up to speed and could answer questions. I appreciated everything Chuck did and the explanations he gave always made sense. Wished I could have kept him throughout the whole process but I understand what part of the team he was with . He was available for any questions pr concerns even after the closing date. Would request him again if we were looking for another mortgage through Rocket. Thanks again Chuck."

He gave me several hours of his time on lengthy phone discussions going over the details of Rocket Mortgage's offer and process and evaluating my scenarios for refinancing. He was very knowledgeable and experienced with how the Rocket Mortgage would proceed, including the portions of the process that were particularly confusing, he knew in advance that's how it would go. He was a pleasure to work with and I'd recommend him to anyone in the future. My only comment on the entirety of the process to share with the reader is that Rocket Mortgage did not do a good job of obtaining the absolute latest payoff statements from my prior bank for either my mortgage or HELOC and it took a lot of last minute pressure for me to get them to do that. As a result, they were way off on their closing projections and actually failed to pay off my HELOC in as timely a manner as they intended to. I'm very happy with the overall experience and the financial outcome, but I think, particularly since they intend to move so quickly and efficiently, they should have taken this more seriously than they did. I don't think that has anything to do with Oscar, who was along for the ride and helped a lot in all regards."

Not only did my request for help get denied, they tried to"steal"my home. Not knowing what to do, or where to turn to, I reached out to Rocket Mortgage (Rocket Mortgage) . The person who answered my plea for help, on the other end of the phone, was Tom Velten. What a godsend he was! He listened to my plea and he offered to look into my cause and Tom immediately got down to working on my loan. When I tell you that everything was seamless, it was seamless and extremely fast. Within 2 hours of my very first contact with Tom, we were well on our way to having our loan approved. Not even 2 weeks have passed and I'm heading to closing. Everything went exactly like Tom informed me that it would go. It's interesting to note that my mortgage payment went down by almost $100 per month and the new payment includes 2 credit cards that I'm going to pay off. I absolutely enjoyed working with Tom. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to obtain their very first mortgage or if you're looking to refinance. My credit is not the very best but it is decent and it really has to be. Don't expect them to be able to accomplish a un realistic home loan. Be honest with Rocket Mortgage and the team assigned to you but more importantly be honest with yourself. Don't expect miracles, know your budget, be prepared, be proactive and most importantly be patient and respond to their request immediately. It's your loan after-all even though you'll feel like the team is only working on your loan, keep in mind they are also working on others and their loans but their response to your concerns are still their highest priority. Even by email which in some cases are at odd late / early morning hours. Just shows you they are definitely working on your behalf to give you their very best effort to make your loan happen. If your expectations are realistic and your honestly expecting a good experience you'll be satisfied. Unless your assigned Loan specialist team is Logan and his team then good won't be "good enough" of a rating you'll actually recieve an excellent experience. Also would like to say to you all that Logan's team includes a beautiful coordinator/specialist named Taylor working on your loan and she is a Rockstar, I give Taylor 100 stars as she is fantastic in all areas as well. If I had to do it again I'd request and not quit requesting for Logan and Taylor to be assigned to accomplish my loan package that's how great they are. Logan and team made me the happiest new home owner i could be and like I stated above they are what makes the Veterans United Home Loan experience stand out among the rest."
