He assured me that he and the team's at Rocket Mortgage, would not let that happen. He was right!!! With in 20 minutes of our conversation, Jacob had my options, his plan, and all I had to do was say, "let's do it"!!! He made it easy, it was simple. Jacob knows his stuff! We are very pleased with our results, thanks to Jacob, and the people at Rocket Mortgage. Thank you, Jacob!!!"

My family just recently entered into the market to purchase our second home. A task we have very little skill in. 16 years ago, we purchased our first home and we went the traditional path of obtaining a lender, having the lender take us down a very convoluted path. This time around we started off by doing the same thing. That is, until I saw an advertisement for Rocket Mortgage. Having a background in technology, I don't know why I didn't think about using this immediately. But even like most of my clients, it's that "teaching old dog new tricks" mentality, so I decided to give it a go. Long story short we bought our second home using Rocket Mortgage. Things that blew my mind was how supportive the team was. The #1 takeaway for me was: I was able to get the home with a down payment that was well below our budget. Like I said, when we started the process of buying this home we went down a traditional path. That traditional path quoted a down payment that was 120% higher than what we ended up paying through Rocket for the same exact house (approved limit). The second thing that really stuck out was the technology. WOW. Rocket Mortgage has this fine-tuned and then some. Speaking purely from my experience in software, this is hands down the most user-friendly, linear step-by-step, keep you on track - user interface. We new exactly what needed to be done and when. Seriously, it made buying a home super, super, super simple. I cannot thank them enough. Lastly, I want to comment on the customer service. There was an issue with our load regarding the property assessment. These are things that come up. I thought the tax assessment was way off, but who am I to really know the ins-and-outs of tax assessing. I reviewed this information on a Sunday evening and freaked out and made a comment on the Rocket App. The comment was one that you would expect from a frustrated home buyer that just learned they were over budget due to 'estimated' property taxes. To my surprise, not even 10 minutes later a Rocket employee commented back (Sunday Eve, 8pm!) saying they would be reaching out to me asap to have the discussion one on one. The really amazing thing. Really, the most amazing thing out of the entire experience: they spent the time digging into the assessment which resulted in a positive outcome. Simple, friendly, really - why would anyone use anything other than Quciken's Rocket Mortgage. The entire process I want to say took less than 40 days. We now own the home we've always wanted. Thanks to Rocket Mortgage for their amazing tech and most amazing staff! If you guys are even in St. Pete Fl, party at our house!"

I immediately received phone calls and emails from different representatives. I became fearful about talking to individuals that I could not see and asked them to stop calling me. In December, after talking to two different individuals about their experiences with Rocket Mortgage, I decided to try again. I immediately told Dustin that I was uncomfortable with the process even though I knew it would save me money. Dustin was very patient from start to finish. He answered my questions, and I never had to wait long for a return call or email. I would say that my experience was perfect. However, there was a mild misunderstanding concerning the last payment of my January mortgage. I thought my last payment was December, however I needed to make the January payment. I am pleased with Rocket Mortgage and with the service that Dustin provided. He turned a life changing decision into a smooth transition for me and my family. Thank you Dustin and Thank you Rocket Mortgage. "

Things like getting a mortgage or refinancing your old mortgage. This is not a commercial or infomercial but a real-life experience. Recently I decided to refinance my mortgage. I called Rocket Mortgage. On the other side of the line was Mrs. Nikki Mariner, a banker with Rocket Mortgage company. From the beginning, I sensed that Mrs. Mariner was exactly what the doctor ordered. Knowledgeable, pleasant and spontaneous. Seldom I had a great talk with a customer representative like I had with Mrs. Mariner. Next time when you need a helping hand in buying or refinancing a house and when you'd rather have a friend on the other side of your inquiry than a predator, call Mrs. Nikki Mariner."

When he notified me that he would work my loan application, I was already stressed out because my home mortgage had just been sold again, for the third time in 1 ...Hi, Jacob was amazing to work with. When he notified me that he would work my loan application, I was already stressed out because my home mortgage had just been sold again, for the third time in 1 year and one month, and once again I was told by the new mortgage company that the original loan did not escrow enough property taxes (not even half of enough) and that I would need to send a large sum of money to cover the shortages (that both of the first two loan Escrows didn't cover. They gave me one month to send them $1,900 and the loan payment was still going to go up quite a bit. I paid the $1900, but I was devastated. Jacob assured me that he could find a loan package for me because I had excellent credit and had had a loan with Rocket Mortgage when I live in my previous home. Jacob was kind, thorough and professional in dealing with me. He communicated often until he went on Maternity Leave, I was very appreciative of that. I began to feel that Jacob would do everything that he said he would to assist me and I feel he went above and beyond. This is the kind of professional that we need in the business world to make our lives run a little smoother. I will always be grateful for the kind of service Jacob provided me."

"I was a loan officer in the Wild West mortgage days of the early 2000's so I've seen good loan officers and I've seen some not so good ones. I shopped my refinance with three other lenders, including...I was a loan officer in the Wild West mortgage days of the early 2000's so I've seen good loan officers and I've seen some not so good ones. I shopped my refinance with three other lenders, including my current lender that wasn't Rocket Mortgage (Rocket Mortgage). After speaking with Chris, he was detail-oriented, professional, and very knowledgeable about the entire mortgage process with Rocket Mortgage. So much so, he put the other loan officers to shame! So we decided to refi w/Rocket Mortgage and I'm very happy that we did! When doing a mortgage loan, the process is usually pretty easy, unless something unforeseen pops up. This is where the good mortgage companies separate themselves from the average ones, by coming up with a workable solution, and this situation happened to me. Our home appraised for 15% less than even Rocket Mortgage had projected! This was due to the appraiser using year old comps and ignoring newer model-match comps. I put together a property profile of all the recent sales in my area and despite showing 5 model-matches that sold within 6 months, the appraiser wouldn't adjust his valuation! I thought the loan was killed because the value put me under 20% equity in my house, meaning I'd still have PMI. But Rocket Mortgage contacted me saying they had a solution. I didn't return their calls for a couple weeks thinking whatever their solution was, it involved PMI so it makes no sense to move forward. Luckily they called me one day and I picked up the phone! While their solution did involve PMI, the PMI payment itself was less than 1/3rd my current PMI payment because I had over 10% equity in the house. In addition, the PMI automatically falls off after 30 months. After doing the math, I'd pay the same amount in PMI w/my current mortgage in one year! So we decided to refi into a 15 year loan and we've been happy since! Thanks Chris for all you've done for us and I'll definitely be referring my friends and family to you. Dave"

He followed through on the loan application with me and provided me with extremely accurate estimates of the costs and benefits that were available to me.
