We called a few places to get "pre qualified" for a VA home loan, including USAA. We didn't feel as if they had out best interests in mind. I decided to try Rocket Mortgage. I was very fortunate to get Mike Terek assigned to my loan. From our first conversation he not only told me he was committed to making this happen through his service but he showed me. Mike was very personable and friendly, as well as a complete professional. If you are looking for a home loan, start with Rocket Mortgage and ask for Mike Terek. Next time we purchase a home, Mike will be our choice and standard of mortgage banker(s). "

However, in my mind, I had not expected to get qualified as "quickly", and if not I was prepared to take the necessary measures to qualify for refi again in the near future. Simply because being married, I was requesting refi in my name only, then Shawtann suggested taking look my numbers and status for refi qualifications as an individual, then by crunching my numbers through the financial system, then with minor adjustments (low an behold) I qualified, my credit score improved, debts are now gone, and as a family we now have more disposable income an financial freedom to move forward in life and without worry. Bottom-line, my family is at peace, and we're happier going forward into the future, thanks to Shawtann and Rocket Mortgage/Rocket Mortgage. Sincerely, Horace E. Borders Jr."

A ...First and foremost, a comfortable experience to what most view as a stressful, uncomfortable process including myself. Jake walked me through the refinance from the moment he picked up the phone. A simple search and inquiry on the internet looking for a VA "cash-out" routed me to Rocket Mortgage and Jake. I had been inundated with offers of refinancing, cash-outs, etc. from multiple lenders all willing to "help" the veteran. The reviews were not favorable of the ones that showed interest towards me so that's when my search started. All my questions were quickly and efficiently answered. After about 5 minutes into the process, I started to settle down and a positive feeling started to ease my mind. He's good and good at it. It wasn't all business. We got to know a bit about each other which separated him from the typical "salesman" approach. I honestly felt he was there for me. Again, the process was quick. Having great credit and all my needed paperwork at hand made it easier. (Hint Hint)) After the initial process and moving on to the next step(s) which involved different teams doing their thing, I referred back to Jake for a few questions. Even though his initial job was done, he got back to me in a timely fashion and walked me through my concerns and questions. If I knew how easy this was, I would of done it a while ago but just hearing the stories in other reviews added to my hesitation. The closing was quicker than expected, the closing was done right at my kitchen table and funds were deposited sooner than estimated. Thank you to Jake and the rest of the Rocket Mortgage team for making all worth while."

Let me start at the beginning. 3 or 4 years back we started getting notifications in our mailbox about refinancing. I wasn't sure how it worked and I asked Wells Fargo, who bought our loan from Mortgage Advisory Group back in 2011, and even they could not explain it to me in a form I can understand. We never then refinanced. We were scared and didn't know how things worked and wasn't sure if we needed to put money down, so on and so forth. A co-worker of mine said he was refi'ed and it was awesome. I asked with whom he refi'ed with and he stated Rocket Mortgage (Kohl and Corissa Steinman- they referred me). So I asked him how he liked Rocket Mortgage and he said "If I would've known it was going to be easy I would've used them to get a loan when buying our home". I am so happy we got to work with Mike. He was so patient and kind to an old woman who is not good with talking about finances and money. He ALWAYS got right back to me, and he ALWAYS kept his word, that is truly important to me. Mike thank you so much for all you did for us (mostly me)... Thank you so much for easy to talk to and you also laughed at some of my really dumb jokes. Mike is an asset to Rocket Mortgage and Rocket Mortgage!"

He was quick to reply to questions. If we couldn't reach him by telephone he returned our calls right away. He would also follow-up with an email. When we were confused about an issue he would follows-up to get the answer. Aaron made the whole refinance very easy. Aaron had the answers to questions and if he couldn't answer he would get the answer and reply to us. If I had to refinance again I would call him to do that. Sam’s Professionalism and Personality combined made my Loan experience nothing more than a “Walk in the Park “ , he explained everything exactly as it would happen step by step, answered all my questions, he was straight up and spot on . When I called him if he did not answer the call, I would have a text in a matter of minutes stating he would call me in a few minutes and he always did just that. There is nothing I could possibly complain about, the entire process was perfect in every way. Sam, my Friend, I take my Hat off to you! It has been a true Pleasure. "I saw a Rocket Mortgage commercial on television, so I decided to give them a call. The first person that I spoke with was named Giancarlo. I told him the nature of my call and what I was wanting to ...I saw a Rocket Mortgage commercial on television, so I decided to give them a call. The first person that I spoke with was named Giancarlo. I told him the nature of my call and what I was wanting to do, which was refinance my home. He asked me some questions such as my income and debts. Then he had me to draw a chart to show my present monthly debts. On the other side it showed what my monthly debts would be if I were to refinance my hwith them. He also quoted me a lower interest rate. I was amazed with how much money I could save each month by refinancing my home and paying off all of my debts. Then he told me that I was approved. He walked me through the process step by step. Giancarlo always made himself available to answer any concerns that I had. No matter how many times in a day that I called him his personality never changed. He was always courteous and polite. He is an awesome man that really knows what he is doing. I thank God for Giancarlo who reassured me from day one that he had me, and he did. Now instead of just existing, I can live my life to the fullest. I would strongly recommend Rocket Mortgage to anyone that is wanting to buy a home or refinance their existing home. If I knew who Giancarlo immediate supervisor was I would highly recommend that he be given a raise for all that he did to help me. Because my life was truly a living night mare until I refinance my home with Rocket Mortgage."

She walked us through every step of the plan and was quickly available to us if we had any questions. If we had an issue that she couldn't resolve, she connected us immediately by conference to someone who could help us. When we started to reach the final steps of our loan, she put us in touch with one agent who handled the last minute details rather than having to hear from many different people who were finalizing a different part of the loan. Jessica helped to make what can be a unsavory process somewhat less difficult and time consuming. Her cheerful and pleasant disposition were an added plus to our loan process. We would choose to work with Jessica again if need be. She is a valuable asset to Rocket Mortgage."

I just had to write a review about my experience so far as it has been great. The market I am looking in Minnesota has very limited availability at this time of year so it has been a challenge and a little frustrating but Oneal is keeping me ontrack and upbeat which is greatly appreciated! This was my first home buying ...I honestly cannot say enough good things about Chris. He will tell you how much he wants to help you, but then he actually takes the next step and walks the walk too. This was my first home buying experience and he was there taking all my calls and answering all my questions and making sure I understood everything. He was even taking my calls after hours and on Saturday too as the offer on the house was being negotiated because we needed answers from him fast as interest in the property was high. He was there when we needed him and actively worked to get us the best possible deal. He's a man of his word and a man with heart too, and when you're facing the monumental task of purchasing your first home, that's the type of man you want on your team."
